@mr p, is this true? an online friend of mine said he read somewhere that domundi started as an ordinary youtube channel and joss wayar was in it. 🤔⁉️

Correct on both.

Domundi started in 2016 with travel vlogs and challenges but didn't really become BL until "Why R U?" (2020).

Joss left Domundi in 2018 to move to GMMTV, where he's arguably a better fit anyways.

Following the success of "Why R U?" and the "Cutie Pie" breakthrough (2022), the next big turning point for Domundi was "DMD Friendship the Reality" in the winter of 2023/24, which did a uniquely brilliant job of introducing the new Gen 3 artists to the BL market and beginning the massive build-out which has since led us to the massive Domundi/Mandee powerhouse that we know today, with Gen 6 in training and development.

It's really stunning what Aoftion has achieved in the four years since "Cutie Pie".

Is anyone watching Duty First, Kiss Later ? How are you liking it so far? I have watched the three episodes that have aired and I am not sure what I think of it.

My weekend was very fruitful. I had fun, dancing like crazy at the hen party 💃 I also sold Minlee to my bestie and I managed to force convince her to watch Payback 😁

I suffer from SSP (second season phobia), so I'm going to wait for Gelboys 2 to finish airing. In 90% of cases, there's a breakup in season 2 and I want to avoid going through it week by week.

The Edge of Horizon ep 8

"Okna tego domku dziwnie w słońcu lśnią, jakby czyjeś oczy zachodziły łzą."

Was I mentally prepared for this episode? Yes. Has it made this any easier? No.

This was another episode focused mainly on the historical events. I've got to ask: who's the king? I was wrongly convinced that prince Vasin was the king. Now I feel like I don't know anything about the royal family. I'm confused.

Prince Vasin is the worst. Always so proud, looking down on everybody else. I can't believe he's still acting like the father of the year, after everything he had put Tinn through. Chat is Chat. I still love the grandma, she loves her family the most, every member of her family, and I love her for that.

The moment Tinn overheard that conversation I knew it was the beginning of the end. Now he doesn't trust a word out of Phob's mouth. He also loves his family, probably more than they deserve. This revolution felt like an attack on his family, no wonder he's upset. He never cared much about it, but he did lose certain privileges as a member of the royal family.

I feel sorry for Phob. I believe he acted in good faith. He wanted to change his world for the better and help the poor and the oppressed. Unfortunately, he found no understanding from his mum or his beloved. He's got no one else. His mum is the follower of the old order, she doesn't appreciate the change. His beloved rejected him, even though it was his love and desire to be together openly that fuelled Phob's motivation to fight this fossilised system. He tried so hard, sacrificed so much and got nothing in return.

We've got three more episodes left, so there's still a chance for them. I just hope they won't have to wait for it for another decade.

Your Sky ep 2

Sora nie umie w randkowanie.

I have no idea how to explain it better but Oji is very Japanese. I look at him and I see an anime character, which is not necessarily a bad thing. I actually like watching him, he's kind of funny and distinct from Oh.

I am so used to Muenfah played by Thomas I find it hard to connect with Sora. He got a little better by the end of the episode, so I haven't given up on him yet. Sora is so inept at dating, it's almost endearing.

I must say Hinata is even cuter than Teerak. I love him 😍 Totally a cutie patootie.

I'm worried about the other two (three?) couples. This drama will be significantly shorter than the original. I'm afraid we won't get a satisfying amount of time with other couples.

I managed 2½ episodes but decided to drop. It is a light watch with enjoyable characters though with not much plot in my opinion.

I am (see my post in the middle of the previous page).

It's not top-notch, nor is it in my usual comfort zone, but I'm finding it entertaining, so I'm sticking with it.
