Gen3 has my favorite couples for sure, KengNamping, ThomasKong, TleFirstOne. If only Por was part of gen3 then itβd include TeeteePor too and Iβd be happy. Iβm hoping AuauSave become favorites too after Mr. Fanboy

You saw 96% from France so you didn't get the full effect. Once you see a total solar eclipse you might feel differently. Although I have to agree that some of the photos have been amazing (and some have been altered for artistic purposes to look more amazing).
On my first eclipse on the Black Sea, it was about 2 minutes of totality. I saw the Baileys Beads, the Diamond Ring. My husband had brought a handmade telescope so we saw flares while the sun was eclipsed. On my 3rd eclipse, it was in a neighborhood park. All the animals suddenly became quiet when totality occurred. It was surreal. I've become an eclipse chaser and have plans to see the one in southern Spain on August 2, 2027. I also have my eyes on the one occurring in July 2028 across Australia.

It's surreal. This one was different for me because it was in a city. The 1st, I saw on the Black Sea on a boat. Truly incredible; I had goosebumps.
The 2nd (Cairns, Australia) and 3rd (Madras, Oregon), I was in areas where there were typical animal sounds. They all quieted down when the eclipse happened. Very eerie.

As I was watching this episode I remembered that girl and that subplot. It was in the original drama as well. I like this drama, but the original is still pretty fresh in my memory, so it's hard not to compare these two. So far, I prefer the Thai version.

I said it before and I'll keep saying this: my love for the grandma is immense π₯° True nobility. She lived by the principle: noblesse oblige. She treated her family with love and her servants with respect. This is why her death hurts so much π Sadly, there was nothing that could have been done. This drama takes place 13 years before the first dialysis and 22 years before the first kidney transplant. Phob can't be blamed for inevitable, he's neither a god nor a demon.
Prince Vasin has lost his mind. This behaviour isn't normal. He's literally obsessed with Phob. This whole revolution is so much bigger than Phob, and it didn't even start with him, he couldn't have prevented the princess' death, yet he's to blame for every misfortune that happened to the royal family. Vasin flies into a temper whenever he's mentioned. He's wearing blinkers. He's blinded by his hate. And deafened too, since he can't hear a word Tinn is trying to tell him.
Why is this so hard between these two? π« Fate doesn't spare them. Just when I thought things were getting better. Phob was there for Tinn in his time of need, they got a little closer again. Grandma was supporting them, she even had a talk with Phob's mum to change her perspective on things. Unfortunately, nothing is ever easy for them. Tinn's father is going through with the rebellion and he won't have mercy on Phob, while Phob could never hurt him or Chat, because they're the family of his beloved and he wouldn't hurt Tinn like this. I'm telling you, if they get a happy ending after all of this, it's going to be a miracle (sent from heavens by the grandma).
Such important political events are taking place and yet the most important person is not around. Where is the king in all of this? I haven't seen him once!

Mine, too - but in part because of how cleverly Domundi got me totally invested in Keng/Namping and Thomas/Kong right from the start through "DMD Friendship: The Reality", which I see as a major turning point in Domundi's development.
In the case of FirstOne and Tle, it's a bit different, since they didn't partner until shortly after - but already during the series, I really appreciated their respective musical talents and even thought to myself that they would complement each other.
If only Por was part of gen3 then itβd include TeeteePor too and Iβd be happy.
TeeTee is an interesting case because I didn't think much of him during "DMD Friendship: The Reality" (S1 / introduction of Gen 3). He was 18, lacked confidence and camera presence, and wasn't ready yet. But gosh, I was stunned much he had changed by the time of "It Takes Two" (S2 / introduction of Gen 4), which is when he totally won me over.
So although he's Gen 3, I associate him more with the Gen 4's.

I think this drama is going to be a really slow watch for me. It feels more intense than I have the energy for rn, but I liked the first 2 eps.

A Winter Sun - just knew a basic plot of an actor who goes to a hill side and meets someone and falls in love. The story as such wasn't interesting. The direction is interesting, the location is beautiful but the story itself is quite slow moving. It was an interesting choice to have several, if not most, scenes with no background music. Just silence. A lot of those times nothing specific is happening. Felt a lot like an art film.There were also many times when I was confused as to what happened. Wondering if I missed something but it was just suspense to be revealed later. Although sometimes you had to draw your own conclusions with no extra clues. There were some interesting scenarios like how actors and their teams handle viral stories (both positive and negative). Overall I can't say I disliked it but I wasn't wowed by it either. 7/10

Glad to see you back ! At first, I found it hard to answer because I tend to get obsessed with one couple from each generation, one after another. They take turns, like for a week it was TutorYim, then TleFirstOne, then JimmyOhm (but now it will be JTOhm), and CopperFifa. But I think my favourite couple is TleFirstOne, so I voted for Gen 3. π

I think it's also because I only had eclipse glasses. Next time, I'll be more prepared and watch it through a telescope. I admire your enthusiasm as an eclipse chaser ! ππ

i hesitated btw gen 3 and gen 5 but picked gen 3 , gen 5 has few of my favorites while gen 3 has couples that i love π€
@Tiffany haha yeah. Different tastes indeed. I guess I'm difficult to please. Unless there's a drama that I can't stop watching or get enough of, it won't earn a 10 from me. I haven't given many dramas a 9+ this year. But the quality of releases overall have been better than last year.
I was curious, so I checked your list for this year, and we both rated Deep In a 10/10. π

I can handle heavy watches, but it might take me a few days to recover. π I'm just not into heavy shows as a weekly watch because I get less invested.
