I'll pass on Future, that according to MDL ratings is even worse.
I watched "Future" all the way through, and yeah, it's a total trainwreck. There are some cuties and some "fascinating trainwreck" moments, but on the whole, just a trainwreck (not in a good way).
As to "My Staycation Boy": It's OK on its own merits given the limitations of the format, but its appeal is mainly to adoring Yin & War fans (like me). Now that you've been indoctrinated, maybe it'll mean more to you.

Today The Missing Piece is ending, so I can finally binge-watch it ! The Last Oath is also ending, but since it has zombies, I'm waiting a few days to watch it for the Halloween vibes. 🎃👻

Ok, now I want to start Fairy & Devil ASAP. I’m almost done with My Royal Nemesis so maybe it will be my next straight drama.
I finished Weirdo 101 and I basically agree with your assessment. It was mediocre. I liked it at first but it never really went anywhere. I gave it a 7.5 because it wasn’t annoying for me to watch, it just didn’t offer much. But I did like the cast, so I’m sure you’re correct about that being why it has as high a rating as it does.
One problem with GMMTV shows is they all seem to have potential. And at least a couple GMMTV BLs a year are really excellent. So with known couples and potential, it’s hard to pass up watching them in case they might be the great ones.
So far this year, Ticket to Heaven was definitely their best BL. When Oranges Fall was also excellent, and I really enjoyed the SkyNani bromance Wu, plus the BLs Burnout Syndrome, and Love Me If You Swear. Me and Thee is in its own category for being so sweet and funny, but that mostly aired in 2025.
As You Maniac wraps up, I fear it is devolving into a very standard story/ending. I loved the concept, but the toxic elements were minimal and the story is basically just two relationship-phobic people falling in love. That trope still has potential, but I’m not holding my breathe for a profound ending. Too bad, I had high hopes for this one. But I won’t pass judgement until it’s over.

How did you like the latest episode of Mr. Fanboy. For me I like the plot more than the romance but maybe thats just personal preference.
I liked the plot more before last week's episode, which was more focused on the romance. Now it's more 50/50.
I tried to catch up You Maniac too and am on ep 7. Not the best, not the worst. I can't really say how I liked it until now because I forgot some plot points and story. But that will refresh when I watch ep 8.

I have the same thoughts ! It's not the best, but not the worst either. I'm not really waiting for each episode to come out. I had high hopes because WilliamEst are good, but we'll see !

I can't watch EP 9 yet. My time zone is behind most everyone except for Dora's, so it's not available. It's after midnight but I'll have to wait until tomorrow daytime comes. It would be nice if I felt sleepy but I don't. It's going to be a long night.
