Which dramas did you not hear of? I'd be happy to give you recs from those or smth and I'm also curious about which titles you don't know.
I don't know how long you've been on this thread, so I don't know if you know me. 😆 I'm mostly a romcom girlie with some tension, action, and adventure on the side.
I might be the pickiest and most sensitive member here when it comes to dramas. I may also be the member quickest to drop a drama, the least interested in NC scenes and def not into horror, psycho, dark & toxic, crime and most thriller themes. Ditto for slapstick and melodrama OTT acting.
There's more, lol. J-dramas are my least fav and I've never been able to finish a Thai straight drama so I don't even start one anymore. I might be missing a few more strong preferences but I've shared enough.
All that to say my list above covers practically every title of the dramas on your list that I haven't seen, don't know of, or I've dropped lol. 😂
I'm a bit sensitive about being so picky, but everyone here has been really nice and patient, at least that's my experience, lol. Even when I express less than positive opinions on dramas that many in the group enjoy no one has given me a hard time or makes me feel bad. I wish I could be more open and watch a wider variety but when I've tried it usually backfires.
Some members even let me know when there's a BL that might not be a good watch for me. It's been really heartwarming to be a part of this group. It feels like we're a bunch of friends just hanging out chatting up BL. ❤️

Seriously: I'm not totally indiscriminate, but I'm willing to overlook a lot for the sake of what I like (preferably with cutie-patooties). And although fluffy feel-good stuff (with cutie-patooties) is my BL comfort zone, I'm open to pretty much anything that's really good.

That's alright! I'm glad that there's some overlap between our lists even if you have mostly different tastes than me. I also haven't been able to complete many straight Thai dramas. But I do enjoy JBLs.
Again, to each their own. I'm happy to share my list on here, if someone can find their next watch on it, then all the more that I should share it. But sometimes, my recs don't work for everyone and that's okay.
Unrelated but I started watching One Piece anime again. I'm at ep 231 lol I got a long way to go until ep 1181 but it's going to be a fun ride. I can't wait to get to the more interesting arcs of their story. :D

Im with Mr. P on being able to tolerate a lot for cute couples. I discovered I really love tension as much as comfort, but I’ll watch pretty much any genre that’s well-done, except zombies. I don’t love horror, either, but I’ll watch it for a good show. I’ll also watch a lot even for a mediocre show. Sometimes I need shows that don’t require as much emotional investment.

You guys are my oldest friends who are still active in the group. I love our group vibe and I miss it when I don’t have time to check in twenty times a day. lol.
In general, I’m happy to have everyone here as long as we keep this a positive, supportive space. The show pages can get nasty so often! I feel safe here and can trust I’ll get good reviews and recommendations, plus equally enthusiastic BL fans.
My only complaint about this group is that everyone is ahead of me on the time zones!! I’m the last to get to watch stuff here in California. 😭 Actually, I survive. I just have to be careful not to read spoilers before I watch. Sometimes I get too tempted, but that can help when I’m clueless and don’t want a shock. I never guess what’s coming and am always fooled by fake-outs. I guess I just trust what the shows give me and never assume anything, despite tried and true tropes and the 400+ BLs I’ve completed. But it lets me feel good about new shows, even if the tropes are familiar.
Ugh, here I go rambling again when I need to get ready to go out. Saturday’s shows will have to wait til later. 🙁

Kinda like Oscar the Grouch only not green and fluffy (I don't think) and u prob don't live in a trash can. There's just too many cutie-patooties, so ur excused, haha.

Oh wow, one of my online Canadian friends has been trying to get me to watch One Piece. She's waaaay further along with the anime. I started the live action last weekend but not sure how much violence I'll run into after watching the first ep. 🫣😳

Now that u mention it I do remember smth about it. I was trying to avoid too much info about the drama at the time. If it was rl of course I wouldn't be putting down someone's art, but this is just weird seeing it in a drama of this type. I mean it could fit for Teerak in Your Sky, if he was an artist. That would be creditable.
They could have easily had someone come up with some cool art without spending a ton. Sometimes I wonder what if anything goes through the actor's minds while filming. As it is now I find it distracting along with a few other things, and not in the best way. See if I last through the entire series, lol. I'm having some eye rolling moments. 💀💀

After careful consideration and research, I've decided to pass on Love Is Better the Second Time Around Season 2.
I have no patience rn for a JBL full of miscommunication and misunderstandings, especially AFTER the MLs being a cpl for a few years. J-dramas can do insecurity and not talking about stuff to the point of pain and suffering. My pain and suffering cuz I just wanna beat my head against the wall. I'm not in the mood for it these days. Maybe I can pick it up another time or year. 🤣

The Gifted is really good! I hope you do watch it one day. You can see Gun Atthaphan in a role that isn't BL. It's interesting.

One Piece must have been my first step into the world of Asian entertainment. It was my first manga and my first anime. Now that I think about it, I think I started watching it about 20 years ago.
I love our group vibe and I miss it when I don’t have time to check in twenty times a day. lol.

They did well with Burnout Syndrome, so they don't really have any excuses.
The Missing Piece : I finished binge-watching it, but I don't really know what to say. I think my expectations were too high since I'd been waiting for it since it first started airing.
Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed it ! I liked the couple and the story, but I think the storytelling could have been better.
I'm also glad I got attached to the female lead and that she didn't get on my nerves. I feel like we're seeing fewer and fewer annoying female characters in BLs just for the sake of it, and I'm happy about that !
Towards the end, I also really loved the child. I was invested in the story, but not as much as I expected to be.

I have a question for you ! Would you say the romance is more of a background thing ? Is it more about the zombies or the romance ? If it's more about the romance, I'll watch it tomorrow. If it's more about the zombies, I'll save it for closer to Halloween (along with The East Palace) and watch Gelboys first. 😁
