I have to watch When It Rains It Pours season 1 before I can start season 2.
Absolutely.
As with most JBLs, the total runtime is relatively short, barely three hours.
It's quite good, especially in terms of dramatic quality and acting. Although I wasn't so invested in the love story, it was interesting and different, more about sexuality and dissatisfaction with the existing relationships than the usual BL. Actually, my main gripe with S1 was that the finale and rather abrupt ending left me dissatisfied - but therefore we now have S2, which might well cause me to go back and raise my rating for S1. So it definitely makes sense to watch S2 right after S1.
