Thanks for the nudge on "Stay With Me". It's been on my waiting list, but thanks to your comment, I started on it today and am already at Episode 5. Superb!
Of the currently airing series I'm watching, my other favorite is "Stay By My Side" (6 of 10 episodes so far). Despite the similar names, it's totally different: While "Stay With Me" is heartwarming but (mostly) serious, "Stay By My Side" is a fluffy light BL - but what the two series have in common is excellent, engaging and very cute protagonists.
OK, I'm up to date on "Stay With Me" (16 out of 24 episodes), eagerly awaiting the final two weekend blocks. It's ironic that one of the best BLs of the year is from Mainland China. Needless to say, there are no steamy scenes, and some might argue that it's more bromance with BL overtones than real BL - but I don't have a problem with this, and it doesn't feel censored at all. Good is good - and this series is so much more than good. So far, it's pretty close to perfect.
For fans of Duoduo (the adorable little girl in "Stay With Me"): Sorry, but the award for "Best Little Kid Actor in a BL Series" goes to Tane, the little boy in "Bokura no Shokutaku" ("Our Dining Table", Gagaoolala), another of my favorite series from earlier this year. It's a nice, gentle BL - but the real star is this incredibly natural child actor. And it's so cute how he calls Yutaka, one of the protagonists, as "Yukata" (= bathrobe/summer kimono), haha! There's also a very sweet special episode "Bokura no Kyujitsu" ("Our Holiday"), separately listed on Gagaoolala as "Our Dining Table Spin Off". This series might be too slow and sentimental for some, but I *loved* it.
