So good. South Korea's very first gay dating reality series, "His Man" (2022) brings together a group of eight hot, sexy, free and single gay men to a shared house where they are to live, interact and open up to each other in their quest for “true love”.  Love it. The guys look like they just came off a BL drama.

They're so cute, blushing and nervous on their first dates. So real it's not like they're at a gay bar picking someone up for a one nighter.

Thanks for the nudge on "Stay With Me". It's been on my waiting list, but thanks to your comment, I started on it today and am already at Episode 5. Superb!

Of the currently airing series I'm watching, my other favorite is "Stay By My Side" (6 of 10 episodes so far). Despite the similar names, it's totally different: While "Stay With Me" is heartwarming but (mostly) serious, "Stay By My Side" is a fluffy light BL - but what the two series have in common is excellent, engaging and very cute protagonists.

OK, I'm up to date on "Stay With Me" (16 out of 24 episodes), eagerly awaiting the final two weekend blocks. It's ironic that one of the best BLs of the year is from Mainland China. Needless to say, there are no steamy scenes, and some might argue that it's more bromance with BL overtones than real BL - but I don't have a problem with this, and it doesn't feel censored at all. Good is good - and this series is so much more than good. So far, it's pretty close to perfect.

For fans of Duoduo (the adorable little girl in "Stay With Me"): Sorry, but the award for "Best Little Kid Actor in a BL Series" goes to Tane, the little boy in "Bokura no Shokutaku" ("Our Dining Table", Gagaoolala), another of my favorite series from earlier this year. It's a nice, gentle BL - but the real star is this incredibly natural child actor. And it's so cute how he calls Yutaka, one of the protagonists, as "Yukata" (= bathrobe/summer kimono), haha! There's also a very sweet special episode "Bokura no Kyujitsu" ("Our Holiday"), separately listed on Gagaoolala as "Our Dining Table Spin Off". This series might be too slow and sentimental for some, but I *loved* it.

Did you all see the trailer GMMTV dropped for Only Friends.  The way I am marking my calendar for this series; can't wait.

Yeah, it's amazing ❣️ Beside the great plot, I was surprised to see so wild NC scenes in GMMTV production 🫢 It could be the candidate for the best  2023 Thai BL series, especially that we didn't received any really good Thai production this year...

Any idea which show is gonna take the time slot of Be My Favorite on Fridays?

I really hope it's gonna be either 23.5, Dangerous Romance, Cooking Crush, Cherry Magic or Last Twilight

i heard it could be Dangerous Romance but its not confirmed yet

someone shared this:

"the order of release for GMMTV's next series could be as follows (speculation):

Friday: Be My Favorite → Dangerous Romance → 23.5

Saturday: Enigma → Only Friends → Last Twilight

Sunday: Hidden Agenda → Cooking Crush → untitled new series [Edit]

In 2024, "Cherry Magic" could be one of the first BL series to launch. "

one thing for sure its not going to be 23.5 they just started recasting the roles for the second couple recently
