It is amazing the chemistry between the leads is on fire . It is also thought provoking with the societal issues that are brought up in regards to the rich and powerful versus the poor and middle class as it relates to justice. Definitely worth the watch in my opinion.

A Frozen Flower (2008) so hard to find except on DailyMotion. I don't subscribe to GaGa but it could be on there. Amazing action and bold love scenes and the story captivating. Mr Queen vs A Frozen Flower. Extra steam and spiciness belongs to Frozen Flower - both male leads were courageous to take those roles, and did an amazing and beautiful job with their characters. I think it was Korea's version of Brokeback Mountain with a twist since it came out a year or so after Brokeback Mountain. In my opinion it was way better than Brokeback.

I am watching a lot of currently airing BLs right now - Be Mine Superstar, Hidden Agenda, Jun & Jun, Laws of Attraction, Low Frequency, Stay by my Side, Stay With Me (i still have the final ep to watch), Wedding Plan. I also just finished Be My Favorite yesterday.
If you haven't seen it, i reccomend Be My Favorite. But out of the ones currently airing, my fav is Jun & Jun. And Only Friends that start today. I have decided in advance i will absolutely love it.

I know you don't want to watch His Man but it's so good. S2 just ended and all the guys on Discord are having withdrawal symptoms. I love it. So anxious and worried for the contestants because you feel for them when their hearts are broken. Honestly watching both S1 and S2 the contestants looked like they've just stepped off a BL tv set.

Oh, true. I didn't include it because I meant BL in the BL drama sense. I *have* actually been watching it, and I like it (even though I don't love it) - but yes, I need to catch up to see how it ends.
@RoseQ, thanks for your recommendations. Actually, I was already thinking about "Be My Favorite" (Youtube, grrr) and "Jun & Jun" (on my beloved Viki). I'm not so sure about "Only Friends", as the trailer is so heavy on the steamy sex scenes - not that I mind if the series is otherwise good, but I tend to like the sweet love stories better. In any case, I think I'll wait 2-3 weeks so I can watch several episodes at once.
I like angsty stuff if it's done well. Only friends are more on the steamy side, but i doubt they will get too graphic with it as it will be avaible on YT, uncut version. The sex will play a major role in the series, no doubt, but i think that we will also have a lot of scenes that are focused on emotional turmoil of the characters. The cast includes a lot of my favorites, so i do have very high hopes for it.
The other two series are definitely more sweet though.
OK, I started on "Be My Favorite" - and so far, I like it: Fluffy Thai BL. I mean this in the best way. And good timing, with the final episode out yesterday.
Although I do wonder how the guys in all these Thai BLs can be so beautiful when they all seem to live on instant noodles and Lays. Maybe it's all the high-end cosmetics they get for free when they do their product placements? Or the magical health powers of Oishi drinks?
