Thanks for the tip on "Taikan Yoho" (Viki: "My Personal Weatherman"). I usually wait until a couple of episodes are out, but I think I'll go ahead and watch the first episode tonight.

I see everyone raving about "Stay with me" but I really wonder if I'll be able to like it. I'm really attached to the original version and I'm afraid it will ruin it for me. Has anyone else experienced this and been pleasantly surprised?
Me! I liked "Addicted: Heroin" and so went off and read the books. It was then I realised how much had been tamed down from the books.
When I heard "Stay With Me" was going to be a toned-down version of "Addicted: Heroin" I didn't hold out much hope especially since this is now post-censorship tightening. Certainly, there is no hint of a kiss let alone the kidnapping, rape, torture and other violent elements from the books. However, they have altered the story (not massively!) and made a very good BL series with what they've retained. I enjoyed watching it and am looking forward to Season 2, and how they are going to resolve the changes they made in the storyline in Season 1 with what happens next.
