Spending 5+ hours yesterday on Twitch yesterday with Dabit from "His Man Season 2" (South Korea, 2023) as he streamed, and reacted to  "To My Star Season 2: Our Untold Stories " (South Korea, 2022) was an experience I won't soon forget. The sun came up in South Korea as he finished watching the series. So happy it resonated with him and that he felt the same way about the story, characters, acting, chemistry, and production as I did.

That's awesome, thanks for sharing!

Finally, "My Universe" (Thailand, 2023) has a story worth watching, "The Camp Fire" (Thailand, 2023).

OK, I've decided to take a short break from BL, so I'm watching "Virgin Love", which came out today on Viki. But one of the stars is my beloved Sota Ryosuke, so for me, it's kind of BL, even though it's not BL.

Is it just the actor or does it have some of the feel of BL even if the romances aren't? This is part of broader questions I'm curious about regarding differences between BL and more mainstream series.  BL-adjacent series are sometimes good for shedding a bit of light on this.

A separate question for any men here who have seen I Feel You Linger in the Air, or perhaps young women, many of the love confessions in the later episodes (I'm through ep 10) are far more emotionally verbose than I'm used to with men, or even with women. They feel like a woman's fantasy. I know that I live amongst people who aren't comfortable putting emotion into words so my experiences aren't representative. It might be different for younger people, I hope it is.

I'm curious how far these scenes are from others' experiences.

Nope, it's not BL. I was just joking because of my crush on Sota.

Completed Kiseki: Dear To Me. Even though I have a few issues with the story, it's now on my favorite BL list.  Many seem to be favoring the second couple, but I only had eyes for the MLs...and their chemistry! If you like visuals or what some people call "eye-candy" then this series has it in spades.

My favorite part was that it felt like a high school reunion for the Taiwanese BL actors

I loved it but I wish the second couple had more time together. I was annoyed at the playing hard to get that was going on between them after the one got out of jail.

Ai Di was not exactly playing "hard to get"; he was sure that Chen Yi was still in love with the boss and could never see him as more than a little brother. Ai Di needed a lot of convincing after years of being rejected.

Just finished "Kimi ni wa Todokanai." (Japan, 2023) and it was so sweet I got a toothache. My only criticism is the colourist ought to be sacked for making the production look dank, instead of sunny.

Yes, it was fun seeing other drama couple cameos!

This is my next pick, after I figure out where I can watch it!
