OMG . after watching can you please post here how it goes?

I'm so excited but don't have time

If very sexual near porn series is not for you then this series is not for you.

Pure sex but the plot does have good potential so its a matter of seeing how well the sex content is balanced with an actual plot as the series progresses.

" Passion" by Kangjak... its a great read, you should definitely give it a go :)

thank youuu ( I think I already read it, anyway I'll check again)

So, "Aki wa Haru to Gohan wo Tabeta" was finally released on GagaOoLala. I had been waiting to watch it. It came at just the right time, i.e. when I needed something heartwarming.

I watched this, as I generally like gentle, heartwarming, slice-of-life stuff - but I was actually a bit disappointed. I don't mind that it was more bromance than BL, but for a food-themed series, the food porn should have been so much better. (Other BLs like "Ingredients" and "Zenra Meshi" have much better food porn, just to name two examples that jump to mind.) Anyways, it was alright but not great.

What also rather bothered me was the hazy style of cinematography, especially thinking about your earlier comment on "Kimi ni wa Todokanai". I had thought at the time that it might be the transfer to Bilibili, but I see now that this seems to be some kind of trendy Japanese cinematographic thingie, presumably to look artsy. When I think of the contrast with "Kimi to Nara Koi wo Shite Mite mo" with its beautiful, vivid cinematography, I scratch my head and ask, "Why ... why ...?"

PS: I'm halfway through Episode 2 of "Middleman's Love". I had hoped that it would somehow be better than Episode 1, but sadly not. Perhaps the director is secretly competing for some kind of "Worst BL" prize?

Can we all just take a moment to talk about how well the first episode of PitBabe delivered. It lived up to expectations, honestly. I can't wait for next week's episode.

Twins also keeps hooking my attention each episode the tension building between First and Sprite has me on edge; absolutely loving the series so far.

My Gangster Oppa is also doing well.

I am starting Last Twilight today, finally carved out time for it; I hope the reviews so far are true.

My friend who watched it told me it's really good , and I've learned to trust her after her opinions about only friends. I will watch it after it finishes airing though ( I've told the same thing for so many dramas but I know I'll cave for a few of them ) because life is busy at the moment.

Not interested in the omegaverse stuff, so I'm not thrilled by "Pit Babe".

The only one of the dramas mentioned I feel is worth my time is "Last Twilight" (Thailand, 2023) as it has an interesting premise and gives us a glimpse into another world (more so than the fictional omegaverse, IMO).

"My Dear Gangster Oppa " (Thailand, 2023) has steered so far from the manhwa, which I enjoyed, it feels just as bland as other productions. It's like the heart of the story has been ripped out for me.

"Twins" (Thailand, 2023) started well, but by episode 3 became the usual bland blah. This might have been better suited to a (long-form) movie. 12 episodes of this is going to drag.

I got through some of the second episode, but really, jade needs a babysitter not a boyfriend. This is a small thing, but the way Jade's mouth kept making all kinds of contortions was very distracting, and not in a good way.

Call me weird, but I thought Secret Crush On You (by the same director), was awesome in it's total and complete wackiness, and somehow it worked for me. It was fascinating how far the main character would go and it felt believable for the most part.

But I don't have that feeling with Middleman, unfortunately. Out of respect for the actors I'm giving it one more week to improve or it's a drop for me.

You are not weird that series was awesome absolutely love it; the amount of times I go back and re-watch different scenes is unhealthy honestly.  The wackiness just made it unique for me

I have been putting off watching episode two. The first episode already left a lasting impression of how the whole series will be; no thank you. It will get watched whenever.

I'll have to take a looksee at these new ones. I did watch the first episode of Last Twilight and going back for more, for sure.

Whew, I thought I might get drummed right out of here. LOL  just kidding! It is certainly unique and I LOVE unique, when it hits right.  High five at you!!

This weekend I decided to watch SaifahZon Story and then noticed I should watch Why R U? first. I thought I had watched it long ago, but no. So I'm in BL uni world right now and it's not too bad.

I like the secondary couple's chemistry, Fighter & Tutor.  Actually I am very impressed with Saint's acting in this series and even more impressed that he produces too.  So full circle here - he was an executive producer for Secret Crush On You, which I didn't realize.  I'm a fan of Nunew and so by association, Zee as well. So it's an enjoyable watch!

Edited: I forgot to add that Saint has a series he produced coming November 25, called The Sign, in case anyone isn't aware.  :-)

OMG you are watching one of my all time favourite series, Why R U is one of my 10 star rated series, damn that series stays with me forever. Tell me what it was like for you when you finish it.

The Sign is on my plan to watch list but I never knew Saint produced it, now I am even more excited about it.
