I just finished The Shipper three days ago and I'm still tripping on the emotion from it and the OST. Haven't even been able to bring myself to start anything new yet. It is excellent, both in message and how they pulled off a very complicated madcap mostly comedy story that twists and turns itself around over and over again.
If you're after a fantastic performance from Ohm, by all means watch it. And First. Oh my word. The series only strengthened my opinion that they are two of the very best. Prigkhing, Piploy, Fluke and View nailed their roles too. And P'Jennie. Outrageous :D
Best to go into it without expectations though, and just let it take you on its ride.
It's amongst my very favourite Thai youth series now, might even replace He's Coming to Me (also Ohm and highly recommended) as my top choice which I was NOT expecting :)

OMG Yess I was first introduced to Ohm and First and Jennie through The Shipper
It's honestly one of the best dramas I've ever watched, even though it wasn't really much of a BL
It's really complicated and really sad

But I'd really really recommend it cause it's an absolute masterpiece

But srsly tho, it's amazing and the acting is just beautiful

The humour in the first few episodes is over the top with everything exaggerated. There's a lot of perspective switching, misdirection and jumping to conclusions too. Everything you need to know is hidden in plain sight though. It's a wild, outrageous, sometimes outlandish ride alright. Has a huge heart and good messaging for teenage girls about valuing themselves and not seeing themselves as less than the boys they're putting on a pedestal.
You dropped another favourite of mine (Moonlight Chicken) because you found it too depressing. So I guess I'm not one to offer advice for you?
