Haha, JK :)

Lol, haha

Hey guys just dropping in with some updates.

The teaser for this definitely has my attention

Seems rather basic in plot at face value but I am looking forward to see how it actually turns out.

One of the MDL tags for The Star is  Based On True Story. I know they did workshops, but this seems taking it too far.

At first glance I like the plot of Monster Next Door. See how it goes...

Same here!

I pretty much only watch BL dramas, and had come across a list of BL dramas on MDL, but can't figure out how I found it or how to get back to it. Does anyone know how to navigate to the list?

Do you maybe mean this ? You’d probably have to add Gay Romance as the search tag, but you could narrow your search down as much as you like.

Why did I think this would be a supernatural BL, still sounds cute though

I am actually looking for the name of a BL that I don't have on my personal list, but wanted to rewatch. I can't remember the name and I thought it was part of the HIStory series, but I could be wrong. It definitely is Taiwanese. It is about a poor young man who's mother died and left him a piece of paper to call a man and inform him that he won. The man is a wealthy businessman with 3 other sons by 3 different women. He comes to believe that the young man is also his son because the young man's mom was his true love, but she broke up with him. He tasks his sons to find the young man in order to inherit his business, but one of the sons already bumped into the young man who helped him when he was running from his mafia uncle. He knows where the young man lives. The son wants to start a relationship not knowing that they might be brothers. It turns out that they are not brothers, so they can be together. Anyone have a clue what the drama is called?

Because of You

Edit: I watched this but I never put it on my watched list, wich is weirddd

Thank you! That is the drama I was looking for.

I am too! A fluff watcher to escape, haha.  The funny thing is that whenever the scenes were shot at Prem's cafe on the water and Prem is cooking RIGHT next to the canal, I couldn't block out thoughts of where were all the bugs that would naturally be flying in the air. Having been to Bangkok and eaten along the canals, I got distracted looking for bugs. :-(

OMG I never thought of that. I'm never gonna see those scenes the same XD LOL.

I actually started this one on ep.5, but I did enjoy it. I don’t think it’s memorable, or anything you must watch, but it’s cute and sweet and feel good, and sometimes that’s all I really want from a show.

I still beleive this series was a waste of OffGun  but that’s beside the point.

The ending was so cute too (cry emoji) It made me happy that  at least Fire’s mom accepted Dynamite, because it would of been heartbreaking if they both lost their parents because of their sexual orientation. Samsy and Paeng caught me off-guard but it was funny. Ten and Prem as full blown adults after the time skip really do vibe better with me.

My dream is to see OffGun as real adults, out of school, and with real jobs lol

I think another reason why I enjoyed Cooking Crush so much was because while it was ongoing I was also watching Last Twilight, Pitbabe, Playboyy and The Sign. Those had so much going on that it was nice to have something that like you said it's cute and sweet and feel good. After all of those I just needed something feel good and relaxing. Plus I'm a sucker for OffGun acting all boyfriendy with each other. I

Me, too. I am also a sucker for fluff, cuteness, escapism and happy endings. In addition to Off/Gun, I also really loved Neo & Aungpao. (*big pitter-patter heart emoji goes here*)

Bingo. I loved Solo/Gui from the first moment when Solo walked into the café. (Gui is not the only one who fell in love with Supanut at first sight. *another big pitter-patter heart emoji goes here*) It took me longer to warm up to Phu & Kao, but in the end I quite liked this storyline, too. The third storyline (Khim, Khem and the doctors) was the big weakness in this otherwise fluffy-great series, and just like Hannah, I always skip over these parts when I rewatch it. That being said, I think Khim the Fujoshi was a cute, sweet, funny character in her interactions with Gui.

Yes! sometimes all you need is escapism and happy endings. These end up being the shows I got back and rewatch all the time when I'm feeling sad or need a pick me up.

Oh, that's the 2020 Taiwanese drama, "Because of You" where the chemistry between the leads of the main couple is palpable.
