BL Drama Lovers Club

There are a few Thai BL series that don't get an international release, so never appear on streaming platforms. Fansubbers may take them up, but not always. "Make a Wish" (Thailand, 2023) appears to be one of those series.

It greatly surprises me that BL Watcher would post a review without an official international release. I'm still waiting to see if I get an answer there.

I just watched ep 1 of Something in My Room and it's too spooky for me.

This will be an interesting test for me of whether my love for Supanut is stronger than my cowardice.

Have you seen Ingredients? Jeff and Gameplay were the cutest! Do watch it if you haven’t seen it.

Yes, yes, yes! "Ingredients" might be too sweet and gentle for some, but I loved it.

I watched He She It.  It was good, short but good.

Yes, it was really good as well as quite original - although, of course, sad as well as a bit confusing.

Hands off, you two, he's MINE! Just kidding, I'm willing to share him. Seriously, it's nice in this forum when we share our enthusiasm, whether for BLs or actors. It's just a shame that Gameplay doesn't seem to be acting anymore.

Yes! It's a favorite. I think I saw it soon after it came out. Early on anyway. Really well done!

I watched it early on too and never missed a week. It was my weekly happiness while it was airing. I still rewatch some of the cute episodes from time to time.

I'm hoping to start this one soon.  It's got a really high rating for a BL.

Do make a start soon. So far, I've not heard anyone (at least from my BL circle) say a bad thing about this show so ignore those mean comments. I do hope you enjoy it. I'd be interested to know what you think.

I went into this blind, and I LOVED it. Was blown away by everything about it. I don't typically re-watch but will re-watch this for sure.

Definitely worth a rewatch!

Tinted with you was kinda meh, but it was just a filler drama so I'm not mad.

Egoist.... well I'm just sad now...

I couldn't watch Egoist for the same reason, especially knowing its based on a true story, I believe.  I would love to see more historical BL's! You might check out Nobleman Rye's Wedding for a short sageuk. I enjoyed it. 

I was going to recommend Nobleman Ryu's Wedding to @hoshthegoat as well.

@American Fan  and @angeliviki2022  Something in My Room was on my watch list for the longest time as I'm also a fan of Supanut and was excited for his new show since Oxygen, but the moment I saw horror on the tagged, I took it off my list. As much as I love Supanut, I can't do horror either and don't want to waste my time hiding behind a pillow most of the time during a show. Maybe we could start a club together, LOL?

Gameplay is really a trained chef (i.e. not just acting in "Ingredients"), so I'm guessing that he may have decided on gastronomy over acting. By the way, sorry for my typo: "I'm willing to share him" (not "shame", eep).

Regarding "Love For Love's Sake", I can confirm what Jojo and others say: It's a winner.
