Has anyone started watching To Be Continued? I plan to start it soon (hopefully).

Yes. The first episode was all over the place and, had I not read the synopsis I would have struggled to figure out what's going on.

"Grand Guignol" (Japan, 2023)

Oh yeah that's on my PTW list

Is it good?

 Chun Mo Rionnag:

You know there is a GL Drama Lovers' Club, too, right?

Ooh really? I'll check it out then

Really depends on your taste, it's very gory.

Personally I hated this movie, but I know some people like it.

 FudanshiPL:

The same here. For this reason I'll start The sign today, skipping of all these spoilers was pretty tough.

I almost started The Sign and realized I started Along With Me but forgot about it. I don't want too many unfinished shows on my list. It feels like deadlines waiting to be met. Weird but that's my mind.

UWMA

Am I the loner that wasn't that into UTMA? It was a very early on BL (for me)  and the story certainly had me in it's grip, so to speak. I loved Fluke as Pharm a lot, but didn't care for Dean or Intouch, the characters or the actors. In the end I didn't like it nearly as much as many other BL's. I wouldn't be surprised if I watched it again I could feel differently.  Except I don't like watching Earth, so it's not gonna happen haha.

 OnyxTheHedgehog:

Um, no. It's made in a style synonymous with its namesake. I only really like one aspect of it, but that would be a spoiler so I won't mention it here.

There is also one particularly abhorrent scene but not because of the gore - though the scene was very stomach-churning - I find it hard to believe no-one in the production thought to stop it. It's unnecessary, and I felt bad for both the actors as well.

Ah ok

I mean, I like gore so I might like this

Ur not the only one

I honestly thought I was the only one who didn’t really find it interesting

I just felt it was a bit too long

Don’t get me wrong I love Dean and Pharm but… I dunno

But I srsly love Earth tho… he’s so cute

Really? That doesn’t sound good

Guess I won’t be watching it anytime soon then

It was meh for me despite having a unique premise. I uprated it for the second couple but I was badly let down by "Between Us".

So I woke up to being tagged in a comment by a friend imploring me to watch Unknown the series. I was hesitant to watch this early on based on the story description but given how well this person's comment laid out the happenings in the first episode I have now been convinced to watch. Apparently it is the same director and writer who were involved in the We Best Love series, My Tooth Your Love series, and Stay By My Side series. This convinced me even more to watch. I don't know how I am going to watch all these series but that is a technicality  which I will be ignoring so let the watching overload begin :)

Same, I had only seen him in UWMA and thought that he played his character purposefully and did not really focus that much on him in the flashbacks because I watched those solely for the purpose of understanding background because some of them were emotionally heavy. However when I watched My Only 12% that is when I knew I would never watch him in any series outside of UWMA where he plays a lead role. I hated that series and knew I did not like watching him as a lead.

Thank God I am not the only one who found this series so boring and lacking in so many ways. What made it even more disappointing is that we had been waiting for it for a while only to get whatever that was.

(re "Grand Guignol") It's definitely the bloodiest gore I've ever watched in my life. I wouldn't call it horror so much as splatter. The BL elements are secondary. I watched it because of my unquenchable love for Sota Ryosuke.  Komiya Rio also has a main role, although I don't think the role really used his extraordinary acting talents. Unless you're a big fan of Sota and Komiya (which I am) or blood-spurting gore (which I'm not), I can't say I really recommend it.

I don't know Sota or Komiya but I don't mind gore

But I'm not gonna be watching it anytime soon seeing all the comments regarding it

I’ve seen a few comments from those who didn’t like UWMA and I loved the show and gave it an 8.5 but it would been higher had it not been for Earth (not so much Kao). Somehow, he didn’t resonate with me and while I understand their story, at times it just frustrated me. I did love Fluke and Ohm’s character plus Boun and Prem. Sadly, Between Us was underwhelming.
