This seems pretty accurate to me. Not great drama, but enjoyable enough. It's amazing how much James has changed in appearance since his debut in "Oxygen" (2020).

It's a "good enough" kind of drama.

Never seen that one so I wouldn't know-

I don’t know… I liked the first half… but later on it kind of felt that they were being too repetitive… I mean, the MC literally has all the problems on the world apparently, and it becomes the ML’ s job to clear his tensions… not to mention, he never takes the first step… I don’t know, for me atleast it’s very off putting… but yeah, it isn’t a bad show or anything like that… 

I'm not trying to sell people on watching it or anything, but it was drama that was good enough for a one time watch, but I don't care enough to watch again.

I have Middleman's love in my PTW list that I keep outside MDL, but it's probably gonna be one of those dramas that is one of those I watch so I appreciate the good ones more.

I didn’t like Middleman’s Love but didn’t quite hate it either. I haven’t read the novel yet so can’t compare them but as a drama on its own, sadly, it wasn’t that great. Just didn’t like the way they portrayed Jade in the show with his OTT acting and the jokes felt somewhat forced. Also, the execution of the show wasn’t great. The show gets better as it goes on but not much. The NC scenes though were spicy.

Maybe because of the hype leading up to the show being released that I felt disappointed. It’s just my opinion though so do give it a go and see how you like it.

What a week it has been in the BL world! First, Pawin’s abusive allegations,  then him withdrawing from We Are and now, James withdrawing from Love Upon a Time to focus on his singing career (but the show will still go on with Net and someone else casted). Well, at least, we get Poon Mitpakdee who replace Pawin.

I'm not clued up on BL news at all lately . I'm finding all this out now. I just watch the shows and never really know much beyond that often times. The Pawin thing sounds serious. The last controversy I followed was the Be On Cloud stuff.

I totally missed that news omg-- I don't have many pairings that I actually like as a pair (most actors I like individually and don't mind what ever way they are paired up, and a lot of times I like one actor more than the other) but NetJames are so good together. That was not in my 2024 Bingo card wth

Yes, his live IG was… I could see he was sad and was holding back his tears. I didn’t understand much at the beginning where he said sorry, really (truly) and series. Somewhere in the middle he said something about happy.

how did i miss this news thats james is no longer part of love upon a time i was really looking forward to that series like from the pilot that was uploaded on yt it looked really promising

While I respect the general right of actors to leave acting, or of BL actors to do non-BL, or of shipped BL actors to decide they hate fanservice, actors should also honour their commitments.  Unless there are some very compelling reasons that we don't know about, I think it's unacceptable and disgusting for James to pull out of a production in progress and, through his selfish behaviour, to do such harm to Net, to Domundi/Mandee, and to the many people who have already invested so much into "Love Upon a Time". James is herewith excommunicated! (*evil fangs emoji*)
