Is anyone watching A Secretly Love????  I started it and I don't know if it's worth it.

Yes. And one male lead appears to be nothing but a red flag and cannot see why the other is infatuated.

I did, mainly because of P'Kimmon in "City of Stars" ..... but failed. I couldn't even sit through the 1st ep.

 Hannah:

No, but I've read the MDL reviews for the entertainment value of reading such uniquely brutal criticism.

 p43425:
I really loved this one - partly because the guys were so appealing (through whatever combination of good looks, charming personality and/or raw sex appeal)

My own little addition to "DMD Friendship the Reality" (which I really liked and can recommend, see post from yesterday): In the spirit of the show, I've decided to add My Own Awards. The jury consists of me.

Good looks: TeeTee
Charming personality:  Namping
Raw sex appeal: Latte
Honorable mention for niceness, poise and maturity: Keng

I'm now watching today's extra episode "Last Ride". So far mostly blah blah, but I'm only halfway through.

I'm rewatching Red White Royal blue for the 3rd or 4th time XD

Deep Night ep 2

Well, THAT was quick *laughing*

They've already kissed, full-on flirted w e/o, and had sex

AND they're gonna become official next ep

I'M LOVIN EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS DRAMA RN HAHA

And the MLs r soooooo handsome TT

I just watched it and I loved every second of it. Their chemistry has me hooked and I am loving the fast pace.

 Jojo:
Yeah, Coffee Melody was dull. I stopped watching for a while and then continued on hoping it would get better. It did a little bit but not much. I was more invested in the second couple as I thought they were cuter and had more chemistry.

So, I finally finished "Coffee Melody" (Viki). I had dropped it last year after two dreadfully dull episodes, but this time I was determined to get through to the end. @Jojo, you're exactly right: The second couple was the shining beacon in an otherwise lacklustre series - so adorably cute, and I loved their playful chemistry. The second couple's epilogue (special episode 2, #12 on Viki) was definitely the high point.

Speaking of dull and lackluster, today's Episode 5 of "My Strawberry Film" (Gaga) had me really yawning. (The four-way geometry of unrequited teen crushes over five episodes may be true to real life, but it's indescribably boring.) However, the "next episode" teaser gives me hope that this eight-episode series may yet become a BL.

I just watched today's final episode of "Sukiyanen Kedo Do Yaro ka" (Gaga: "Although I Love You, and You?") - and although it clears up a few things, it still leaves me rather disappointed with the series. Although I really liked the vibe, the food porn and the Osaka-Tokyo cultural contrasts, especially in the first episode or two, the rest of it didn't really do much for me - as a love story, as a comedy, or otherwise.

Or maybe I'm just jealous because I want Sakae-kun (Hideyoshi Kan) all for myself.

I finished Cupid's last wish and I felt that it was both rushed and had too many episodes at the same time.... plus I found Win really annoying.

Since we're mentioning series that we are watching or finishing....I'm starting EP 43 of The Untamed. I find the story mostly interesting, minus the violent bloody scenes of course, and at the heart of it is Wei Wu and Wangji which I adore.  I'll admit I'm as far in as I am cuz I have to skip over the worst parts of the fighting and so on. And there is a lot!

Around EP 35-37 I lost some energy and interest, but the story is picking back up. They did a good job of hiding an original BL theme, to the point that's it's a shame really. There are many times I wished both MLs could speak or touch openly about how it appears they might be feeling towards each other.  It leaves me with a sense of dissatisfaction and a little frustrated as the viewer.

Overall, at this time, I have mixed feelings about this series, but it's not over yet. :-)

Same! Can't wait for the next ep!

I dropped it. I love Kimmon and have seen all of his other dramas also currently watching City of Stars but I there isn't any chemistry with Kut. I wasn't really into Kut's acting in Chains of Heart but decided to give it a try.

 p43425:

Well, that's what I wrote almost four weeks ago.
Since then, the series has grown on me. The protagonists have grown on me. Yeah, it's a silly Thai comedy - but cute and fluffy in the way of silly Thai comedies. It's mediocre or even pretty bad - but bad in a so-bad-that-it's-kinda-good kind of way, if one doesn't take it too seriously. It's also got the nice-group-of-friends thing that Thai comedies so often do well.

Please don't throw things at me!  And if anyone shares my opinion, please feel free to chime in, as this will reduce my embarrassment for admitting that I like it. *blush emoji*

At first I didn't know how I would feel about this drama but I'm actually enjoying it now. It is giving me I Will Knock You vibes in Yo's character. Hope it stays this way for the entire drama.

(re: "1000 Years Old") Thank you so much for making me feel less embarrassed about liking it. :-)
