Though Gaga seems to have listed one of the actresses by their character name lmao.

• "Call Me By No Name" finished airing on February 28th, with seemingly rave reviews.
• "Otona ni Nattemo"/"Even Though We're Adults" will start airing on April 26th. Officially, it is already confirmed to be on Hulu Japan. While we wait to hear about international streaming (cough cough GagaOOlala cough cough), it has been picked up by a fansubber through DramaOtaku.
• "Ayaka is in Love with Hiroko" teases a "Next Stage" on their social media platforms, with details remaining a secret for the time being. Will we be seeing a sequel of some sort?
• "Finding the Adolescence"/"Puberty Play", a GL film from 2014, has finally been released on international streaming with subs after being picked up by GagaOOlala. (Shout out to Ryn for the observation!)
• "Ice Cream Fever" will be releasing on Netflix Japan on April 1st.

Reincarnation GL "I'm Your Moon" started airing on March 16th

Watched episode 1 this morning. I really like it. Some of the support characters are eyerollingly dramatic, but I'm a sucker for a reincarnation plot. Also! we have 2 GL couples (including one already established one) and a BL couple. 

• Towards the end of 2024, our Korean GL producing queen, Soo Not Sue, announced a spinoff series focused on Yu Bin (did yall realize that "She Makes My Heart Flutter" and "Out of Breath" are in the same universe?). Originally, it was planned to launch in time for Christmas, but got delayed. After apparently re-evaluating the sustainability of her production work, she decided to make her YouTube channel membership based and sent out a survey to fans to inquire about pricing. It appears like all 3 of her series (OOB, SMMHF, and the new spinoff) will be going behind a membership paywall. The question remains... will they stay there permanently? Survey participants will also be getting early access to the spinoff series, which was anticipated to be sent out during March. However, it did hit another delay - though Soo promises that it's nearing completion. And considering everything going on - her clothing brand, her BL/GL Creators Community, her January eye surgery, and her March ER hospitalization... I do not mind the wait. I hope she gets to feeling better soon. Make sure to show her some love on her socials if you're on them!

I got to know that Japan entertainment industry been making Lesbian content since 1950s and they have some extraordinarily good queer dramas and short movies even in 90s and it just blows my mind.

I would highly recommend to watch this one Sono Toki, this is such an amazing queer drama.

I literally fell in love with her https://kisskh.at/people/49305-isshiki-sae acting, to execute a role like this in 90s and with such prolific manner, hats off to her. But sadly she didn't act in any projects after 2005. Could someone find out why?
