I'm hoping this question isn't inappropriate, so I'll apologise in advance if it is. In the drama "Us",  a couple of times Dokrak has, when asked by Pam what she wanted to eat, she answers, "I want to eat you".  Pam then replies that Dokrak is "naughty" or "cheeky". In my country, Dokrak's initial answer has quite clear sexual connotations, but I have no clue if this is the intended meaning in Thai. Does anyone know?

Yes it appears that joke has to be made in approximately 50% of Thai gay dramas. It is a sexual innuendo, but not a super explicit or super inappropriate one. It's mostly cheesy, overplayed, eye-roll worthy. In English, 'eating' someone usually refers to a specific female body part, but in Thai it does not, and the joke gets made in BL series as often as it does in GL ones. 

In Thai it's more of a pun. 'Gin' กิน can mean both 'eat' and 'have sex'. So one character could say 'let's eat' and the other goes 'uh, excuse me? I don't think we're quite at that stage of our relationship, oh wait shit that's not what you meant, uhmm pshh haha my mind is not at all in the gutter whenever I'm near you, I said nothing, we're clearly talking about food'.

Hi, Athena, I was thinking if we could resume this activity again? I'm not sure how many people would be willing to participate but I feel that it could be a great way to shine some spotlight on older/lesser-known GL movies again. We could have it once a week or once a two weeks depending on what people want/how much time they have. 

If you agree but are busy (which I can totally understand), I can make the posts or help in any other way. :)

Id love to see that started up again. I've just been waiting for interest to come back around.

We discovered before that every 2 weeks seems to work the best for the most amount of people.

I don't think i'll be able to spearhead it right now as my schedule is all over the place, but if you wanna take charge by all means! ^-^ Do you still remember how it was organized before or do you need a reminder?

I remember the feeds posts and I read the rules again, but I'm not sure how the voting worked. I think there was a voting list but idk the criteria for adding the movies/how long the voting was open and such so it would be great if you could share how that was done so then I can make it. :)

I can't think of anything to improve about this series, except maybe the  "fade to black" transitions. The acting, the writing, the plot, the cinematography, all are excellent. and Park So Yoo has the cutest smile dimples, maybe cuter than Engfa's.

I felt so much for them, navigating the trust of a new relationship. Highly recommended.
