I don't know if this is an AI tech demo or the first episode in a web micro-drama
It definitly looks like AI. (and I just noticed that it has AI in the title lol)
We got AI-Yuri series before GTA 6... wth not sure how I feel about it.
unfortunately, not a new thing. -_- i can tell you how i feel about it as someone in the creative industry and in the environmental industry, but thatd be a little too leaden for this forum lol
I don't know if this is an AI tech demo or the first episode in a web micro-drama, but the graphics are just so realistic. I do like the forbidden (inappropriate) love trope, so I'd love to see this turned into a drama, even it if is a short web drama.
I'm thinking that in the future, the AI tools will be so advanced, that anyone can sit at home and produce a high quality movie just by giving the AI software some instructions. I'm not sure if that will be a good thing or a bad thing.
Anyway, here's the video:
We actually had a discussion about AI dramas on the BL page about a month ago with iqiyi hosting a few AI dramas this year. I do like the freedom ordinary people will have to create something they enjoy with AI but my fear is how unregulated AI is at the moment. I also don't like how far we advanced it in a short time and the total impact this has had on students in school (world wide), the environment (especially USA who prioritizes corporate over communities), and the impact on creative jobs.
AI is not going to stop and thats fine, but this period of trial and error on how to regulate it and building our lives around it is exhausting. I'll be dead before I get to see the benefits 😂
According to Yada's post, it was her decision to part ways. As for now, there's already a discussion between Khun Dew and Tan regarding her potentially new partner and new project. I'm looking forward to seeing what's next for Tan.
TanYada became the 8th GL pairing to end their working partnership after FayeYoko, MewNingning, NearBmine, GraceAoey, ChristineMae, ViewJune and NattPitcha.
Continuing on from my earlier comments about AI, I just stumbled across this YouTube channel. It looks like it is exclusively AI generated content. I only watched a couple of brief clips, and it looks interesting enough to investigate further, which I will do when I get some time.
I think the baihe hub youtube channel used to do more translation stuff and it's been very disappointing how much they've gotten into AI generated nonsense. I strongly dislike AI and its inclusion in stuff is a turn-off for me. I'm disheartened by various plaforms (iQIYI and Youku that I've heard of) putting out dramas with AI generated "actors".
I've just finished watching the Taiwanese Lesbian dating show "Girls' Love Dormitory".
I'll start by saying that my MDL page for this show was rejected because the show is independently released on YouTube (this is the reason I was given). I think this is ridiculous, and I will resubmit an MDL page for this show in the future with hope it is processed by a different, more reasonable person.
As to the show itself, I generally enjoyed it, however the episodes were (in my opinion) way too long, with far too many scenes of participants just sitting around and chatting or lying around and chatting. Much of this chatter was quite inane and sometimes became repetitive, and I think that some of it should have been cut for brevity. I found myself using the skip button generously in the last few episodes as I was getting bored. I also think the show could have benefit with more structure, in terms of activities.
The contestants were interesting people and I enjoyed getting to "know" them, and watching their feelings grow and wane, or switch to another person altogether. I had my favourites and my 'shipped couples, none of whom ended up together. It was interesting to learn that they had 200 applications to join the show, of which only nine were chosen. Season 2 is airing right now with ten new contestants.
If you are a fan of dating shows, especially Lesbian dating shows, then this show is worth a watch. Just be wary of the episode length. If you're not a dating show fan, you could find yourself getting bored.
