The taser of Pls.Love is out

Looks … complicated. Definitely not your typical fluffy romcom.

Oh shit, took me a minute to realise they weren't just insulting her, she's literally a prostitute. They really looked at the various corporate dramas out there and went "how can we make this relationship even more contentious and ambiguously materialistic?". No one's going to have any nails left by the end of this, not that our demographic had much to start with.

Be it contentious and materialistic (that's kind of ch3 forte, delivering rich lesbians with little strife other than being lesbian) they better go full in and give us Lena's character being fully and completely possessive of Miu's character.

It's in the typical thai lakorn style! I've been waiting for ch3 to start producing these, it's something they'll be good at lmao

Anyone watch the second episode of AI Girl? Because I've been having this thought ever since the end of that episode. I have this feeling that the real person (Irene) will at some point pretend to be Ai. As in all those special moments in the future will be with the real person.

What does everyone think? Maybe they might go full on romantic relationship with robot or not?

I think at some point, the AI will get taken away to be given to the millionaire. That's when Irene will step in for sure

I watched this little gl drama that's not on MDL (and I can't try to add because I've been unable to find any info about it) and one of the leads Zhang Xichuan is literally the prettiest human ever

More brainstorming I'm 99% sure that was Irene towards the end of the episode. The way she came i and also leaves abruptly, judging by the preview of the next episode is just sus. Also is it just me or there's a difference in their makeup. There's obviously AI who has plastic-perfect makeup and there's Irene who looks normal but the end of episode scene is seemingly Irene trying to imitate AI's rouge

I think this is a novel approach to the tropes because they show how AI's ineptitude and inexperience veers into childishness. Right now she can't fall in love but with programmed responses and through everything she learns with Gen, AI can mirror emotions and it can be something like love.

The issue is who does Gen fall in love with. Irene for sure falls for Gen, whom she's observing through the lens. And while Gen doesn't feel romantic love for AI, she does have tenderness for her. I think as the show progresses she will fall for the this side of AI that is really just Irene.
