(Hoping, thread-owner milknbrownie will handle the stirred hives that my comment may cause)
I personally do like Chinese dramas MORE.
( please, i swear, i do not mean to offend here a single k-drama fan ).
The reason behind me chinese drama fan is -
1) i find chinese dramas more realistic,
2) They talk about the problem and solution to that problem,
3)They give certain message in the drama,
( at times it becomes a bit more, they can reduce the extent of doing that)
While, k-dramas are still floating in fantasy-dream-fairy - impossible to achieve stuff- world.
( its not that i despise k- dramas, I have liked many k dramas too, like goblin, coffee prince, Mr. sunshine, my mister, the red sleeve, Mr queen, reply 1988 and many more )
We are here to put our honest opinion at this platform (someone has told me, if u want to avoid criticism, u say nothing)
What that world would be like, if we are not allowed to put our views??
I sincerely believe, korean dramas can do much better-
by reducing/ or avoiding alltogether giving importance-
1) to the looks of ML/FL ( I mean I just can not fathom to digest the dialogues from girls when our ML enters the scene, "omg! He is so handsome".
I mean, what a MAN has got anything to do with how he looks??
How he excels in his field of work , should be the deciding criterion for him to be considered as a good man. And not the bl**dy looks of his.
2) financial condition of ML/FL,
3)Bullying by classmates/colleague,
4) Dominating parents/husbands.
C'mon, i mean school going kids too will not give two hoots to the looks and money nowadays, they go for inner core values.
So, k-drama fans, i am standing here holding the white flag and appealing to k- drama directors/producers to have a look into the matter please.
Hwaiting!!! K-dramas
And c-dramas, you continue doing what u are.
Jayyo!!!
