K-drama vs C-drama!! Which do you prefer?

A year or so I'd have said c-dramas.

These days, definitely k-dramas (also t-dramas).

I don't really wanna pre-age myself by saying "c-dramas were so better in my day! Now get off my lawn!" (also I'm not at that stage of my life yet lol) but I guess my tastes have changed. I still love the ones I watch (mainly thrillers, wuxias and Republican spy dramas) but I am very much down the k-drama rabbit hole these days.

Definitely cdramas. 

I enjoy kdramas (and jdramas and thai dramas) but I started with cdramas and there's something special about them to me that remind me of the shows I grew up with, so I find them very comforting, and I love the sound of the language.

I see! What kind of shows did you grow with?  What are the similarities between them and c-dramas?

Low budget American shows from the 1950s-1990s. I'm very used to and love the cheesy special effects and style, particularly in fantasy, and a lot of modern shows and dramas look way too high budget and lifeless to me. Some of the cdramas have a more play or old-style look, both in acting and filming style, and it's just very comforting to me because I don't see anything else done that way anymore.

Aside from that, I love how cdramas have a lot of focus on all the characters, while other dramas, especially kdramas, are centered around the leads with the others just supporting. In cdramas, I end up loving and being interesting in the storylines of the other characters even more than the leads!

Oh got it.  

Neither.. I prefer Japanese dramas as it's easier to understand Japanese language and Japanese dramas have much less episodes
