I ended up liking this drama despite the FL character having been very off-putting and reserved. However, I actually liked how the FL portrayed this characterization. I think she had lost alot of trust in men (her father being an example) and the ML was patient and slow to win her over.

kinda slow but as you said I enjoyed the new plot line. Unfortunately the storyline with her aunt went nowhere. This is title info I found:

This was cute, heartwarming, and different. Featuring two couples (Zeng Hui & Wang Yan Fei | Li You Lin & Lin Jinyi). One of the FL travels back in time to "save" her future husband. She immediately fills in her bestie and they work together.
