Seen that one before, quite sad its eng dub. Otherwise I would rewatch.
Always preferred original sounds even though almost 100% of verticals are dubbed by voice actors.

It’s really an awesome version and so funny! The execution is fantastic. Her inner thoughts keep roaming around the ML like a ghost roaming around. 😂👻 It gives such a funny humour + ghost vibe throughout the scenes. The way her thoughts are constantly haunting the ML is just hilarious! 🤣 one drawback its incomplete video.

Synopsis:

I agree, a great drama (so far my favorite for 2026 even unfinished) hopefully season 2 materializes soon (At least it had one scene from season 2 after the credits to give us hope!)

The other two versions of this storyline were also very good (and complete). Leads of those versions were Wang Yi Ran/Tan Yan Yan & Huang Hao Wen/Tian Tian Yi

It ended on a happy note, but I expect it might have a Season 2 (seems like a 2nd season is becoming a lot more common). A love after divorce drama.

It seems like old dramas are starting to get reposted more frequently because of the quick copyright crackdown when new ones are released. So if anyone finds an eng sub link for Duó Qīng with Mo Ning & Ma Hao Dong please share with me :) This was a version where (I think if I am remembering correctly) the empress is betrayed by her husband the emperor and then uses the emperors twin brother (or a stand-in) to take his place and take revenge.
