Vertical Short Drama

This is a heartwarming, emotional, and entertaining drama in which the daughters of two couples are accidentally swapped at a hospital during their childhood due to a mix-up. One couple fosters a warm and cheerful atmosphere, while the other maintains a rather cold and indifferent environment; however, a redeeming quality of this series is that both couples genuinely love both their biological and non-biological daughters. The one couple's attitude toward the children is characterized by coldness and detachment—not outright cruelty—unlike the exaggerated and melodramatic portrayals often seen in other dramas. Indeed, there is a distinct difference between cruelty and mere coldness. Overall, this is a wonderful drama that beautifully illustrates how a family environment influences a child's growth and development, and highlights their fundamental desire for attention as a form of love. All the characters are well-written and engaging. you will see two swapped child being best friends buddy  and sister

Yang Peng Cheng x Zhang Jin Yi

When these two actors together, there's this kind of plot. Love it. Though some suits for ML and SML were too big for them and the women's clothes shown too much skin up and down. And the ending feels like an incoherent extra.

FL got amnesia from a car accident set by her husband (before he knew that marriage certificate from abroad need to be reported before it became legal). ML was her bodyguard who pretended to be her cousin after her amnesia. They have to avoid FL's husband people trying to catch her to legalize FL and FL's husband Las Vegas marriage so that FL's husband can be the legal heir of FL's big company before eliminating FL completely.

Previously watched transmigrated Zhang Jin Yi has amnesiac CEO boyfriend (Li Zhuo Yang) and now she's the one getting amnesia hehe. So fun.

A very good slow burn romance between a long time (4 years) married couple who truly get to know each other as they fight to save their marriage. 4 years prior, FL had broken off her engagement to the ML to elope with the SML. ML offered the SML a choice: $10 million or the FL. The SML chose the $10 million and the FL married the workaholic ML. The now successful/rich SML returns and publicly declares that he wants to reunite with the FL (and isn't above playing dirty tricks). The ML/FL unite to quell any attempts to break them up and find love along the way.

Was never a fan of reverse-harem, but this is actually so good!

It has become one of my favorites, and I love the actors and setting. 

In fact, if y'all have any recs for other grassland stories pls share bc I love unique plots!! I've gone through enough of those stereo typical CEO stories 😬(even tho i keep watching them shh--pls gimme good recs thx T^T)

Another Non-CEO drama in a beautiful location Tibet (her trip on the Sichuan-Tibet Highway Route 318 had fabulous scenery) - The cinematography is amazing!

I watched this one first thing in the morning, it's pretty formulatic with female lead transmigrated from apocalypse world into the novel as a cannon fodder and conveniently having healing, farming, cooking ability marrying male lead, a prince with illness that can't be cured. It's quite cute and has two of my favorites; Chen Yu Ling and Huang Hao Wen. And the crown prince/younger brother was really a cute and cheeky character with cute face.

I think the cast was having lots of fun filming this one. A revenge drama with OTT comedy, It has a blast with the Vertical drama tropes - one incident after another...

I haven't watched that title, but Zhang Jiong Min's short drama Huang Hou Jia Dao is pretty good even though FL's acting is quite over-the-top for comedic purpose. In total it's around 5.5 hours in length; an account named Nell7 posted two parts youtube links in the comments. The ending is as usual, ambiguous.

It's pretty much about a modern actress whose previous life was an empress of general lineage whose whole family (except the step-sister) was annihilated by the emperor because the emperor/her husband felt her family was too powerful and overbearing and felt that her step-sister was his true love. By chance, she could go back to her previous life where she made an alliance with the only person who tried to clear her family name (a "playboy" prince whose maternal family suffered from the same fate with her family). Both of them then tried to clear his maternal family name, avoid previous written fate in history and took a revenge to recent crown prince and empress.

I think there are 2 other versions of this drama:  Crush and Marriage - Shen Hao Nan & Zhai Yi Ying (just released today) & A Perfect Match - Jin Wang & Huan Yi Xin
