Yes! I noticed dramas have been taken down very fast in youtube. I used to be able to take my time and watch VSD by going to the links people posted on the MDL page but most links were not available hours after they have been posted.
This makes me so behind on my regular length dramas because I don't want to miss out on watching the VSD when they come out because I might not be able to watch later.

There were times I was like you, but now I've found a balance, kinda. It's the short length series non vertical that I left behind. I got interested to a few titles, but I skipped almost all of them. Only watched 4 titles in 2026:

It's safe to say that almost all vertical dramas got reuploaded. You can take your time and watch whatever you want.

I also plan to watch A Splendid Match, though its douban rating is 5.7. I like both lead actors.

This is how feel also. FOMO as all new releases are taken down too quickly. I was able to view the Wang Yi Ran and Lu Lu Lu drama which was decent (thought the Wang Chen Peng version was a little better). Also the new Mr. Abs release (X) was different and interesting.
As for full length, I have also just started watching A Splendid Match. Looks promising; I hope the chemistry is good.

haha glad I'm not the only one. I spent the day watching A Splendid Match and I liked it. It's refreshing to have a FL who is spunky and smart. I think the romance is slow burn.
I also watched the Wang Yi Yan and Lu LuLu drama and I find they have no chemistry and the romance was bland. Maybe I just didn't like the FL's acting. She didn't look that young and not sure of their age, but she acted like WYR was in his 40s/50s and same generation as her father. She kept calling him old and elder but not in a teasing way, more like a peer of her father. Very uncomfortable.

Enjoyed the leads from Rise of Ning (which people found boring- I loved it!) I also think A Splendid Match is well written (which again people's complaints are that it is boring- and Im loving it!)

Okay... This variety show is a very interesting BTS look at verticals from the director's perspective. I have not watched any K-drama verts, but it doesn't matter... you can easily see how it applies to Cdrama's as well. BTW its only 1 ep/week. So not a huge commitment time-wise either!
