Oh but this one from yesterday looks interesting~

With Du Yu Ze and Li Si Yan, one is blind and one is sick. Sounds sweet and cute. Will watch it after I finish Sun Qian Xun and Liu Yu Hang's drama.

Finally a drama where the disability is kept as is and not magically cured or faked

《砚遇昭昭》"Inkstone Meets Zhaozhao"
ML: Du Yu Ze 杜昱泽
FL: Li Si Yan 李思言

Taz-mania:

Both Wang Yi Ran and Huang Hao Wen had dramas released yesterday based upon the same source material. The version with Wang Yi Ran was very good. I still need to watch the Huang Hao Wen version.

Other sources listed on Wang Yi Ran's MDL page.

Wang Yi Ran's drama title: Oh no! The Big Gluttonous Girl Couldn't Hide Her Feelings

Huang Hao Wen drama title: Madam, Your Little Schemes Can't Be Hidden Anymore

Plot: On the surface, she is sweet, obedient, and perfectly proper - exactly the kind of wife everyone expects her to be. But inside her head? That is a completely different story. He hears her inner thoughts.

I initially on dilemma over which one to watch (mostly because I prefer Huang Hao Wen over Wang Yi Ran), but several people said Tian Tian Yi was not good at acting, her inner thought was not translated, but Huang Hao Wen was good as always (but Wang Yi Ran was more expressive) and there's Li Shi Jie iirc as their driver. Anyway, I watched Wang Yi Ran and Tan Yan Yan's version because they're both good actors, just not yet finished it.

Watched them both . I think Wang Yi Ran played the ML character better and Tian Tian Yi played the FL better. LOL. Both were entertaining though.

I agree that she's really pretty. But for dramas with similar plot, I think 1 is enough. I already finished Wang Yi Ran and Tan Yan Yan's drama and I like it. So I'll pass for now.

But thank you for sharing the link.

Vertical drama remake of the 2023 drama The Love You Give Me, starring Wang Yuwen, Wang Ziqi, and Cui Yixin

Actors: Shen Hao Nan & Jin Zi Xuan

Title: The Love You Gave Me

Plot: Drama follows software engineer Min Hui and CEO Xin Qi. After a painful misunderstanding tears them apart, Min Hui discovers she is pregnant and chooses to raise their child alone. Years later, a chance encounter at a business party brings them face-to-face once again. Reunited, they must navigate the complexities of the workplace and parenthood, proving that their past heartbreak was just the beginning of a sweet, bittersweet journey back to each other.

Both are good Wang Yiran Version give some explicit dialogue with few plot hole while Huang Haowen version give more natural relationship development between main couple with excessive cut of explicit dialogue. For FL it depends of the preference, I prefer Tian Tianyi one though since Tan Yan Yan seems too calm for this.

This looks cute. I loved the secret child trope. Thank you!

I enjoyed both versions. I thought the Huang Hao Wen version seemed more complete (even though it didn't include some unnecessary storylines, for example, like the grandma and foster brother) and I liked that the FL got back together immediately with the ML and that this version gave us some closure on the secondary romance. I'll have to keep a watch out for any other versions of this drama that might get made...

Do you know the name of the ex-boyfriend on Tian Tian Yi version? He looks really familiar and I think he has some ML roles.

Oh no? Whenever the Chinese Gov't gets involved, so many restrictions. Good bye spicy kisses and pushing the limits.

I saw this and wasn't sure if it included the vertical dramas as well.

It said microdramas, which are short dramas.

Maybe Yu Hao Yang??

Li Sheng Jie who I've watched as the ML in several drama was also in this drama (or at least someone who looks like him) as the ML's bestie who the FL had a crush on.

The original 2023 long version was very good - had adorable ML/son interactions.
