When we’re watching an ongoing drama, most of us keep checking MDL or other sites to track new episode releases, especially after a cliffhanger. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve gone back and forth, just waiting for that next episode.
When Guardians of Dafeng was airing, I was the same. I even commented on MDL once:
"I'm going into a coma until the next episode releases."
I just couldn’t handle the suspense, and honestly, it made focusing on anything else impossible. A couple of hours, even days, away from a new episode? Pure torture.
So, I built a Chrome extension that lets you set notifications (plus a lot of other cool features) for your favorite dramas on MDL (or any other website). The moment a new episode drops, you’ll get a notification on your desktop/laptop, no more constant refreshing or checking schedules.
I made a short demo video on how to use it. I always wished something like this existed, but since I couldn’t find one, I figured I’d create it and share it with fellow drama fans. My English isn’t perfect, so there might be some mistakes in my writing or in the video, but I hope it helps!
Not sure if I’m allowed to post this here, but I just wanted to share something that might make our drama-watching experience a little easier. Would love to hear your thoughts!
Here’s the link to the extension: Superpower MDL
P.S. If the demo video feels long, you can speed it up from Youtube and make sure to pin the extension after install, to access the notifications you'll set later.
Plus, if you guys do love using it, i'll release this for other browsers
Happy watching! Right now, I’m hooked on The Last Immortal. What are you guys watching?
