Clergy robes are special garments that carry deep meaning. They are a symbol of respect, service, and faith. When pastors wear their robes, they are dressing with purpose. The clergy robe shows the world that they are ready to guide, teach, and serve the church with honor. At the same time, robes reflect pride. They remind pastors of their sacred calling and give them confidence to lead with strength.

they should still remain humble and rely on God for strength. although it is a special calling to be a pastor/priest, it doesn't make them better than anyone else, so they shouldn't be prideful.

just sharing some thoughts, I don't particularly disagree with what you said :)
