I am almost at the end of chapter 24 (the last chapter) of “In The Name Of Blossom”  and I don’t know what I should choose to watch next.

Now, normally I wouldn’t have this problem but after this series, it was/is so deep, the people are real and I feel like I am in the story, I just don’t know what to choose to watch.

Any suggestions. I’m preferably wanting a Chinese drama a) because I like them, b) because the story/plot is good, and c) because they are more fulfilling than Korean dramas which are all a bit fluffy and marshmallowy.

I love historical dramas btw.

Many thanks in advance.

Well now, I have begun watching “Love of Nirvana”. It’s not too bad but it’s lacking something ~ it’s a little lacklustre and thrilling.

Indeed, the  only real “thrilling” bit was when the assassin held our ditsy FL captive in the tree, threatening her with a dagger at her neck!

Legend of Zang Hai, maybe. A revenge drama like The Double (your favorite), it's overall thrilling and fast-paced, a bit boring in a few episodes near the end especially because I lost my favorite villain.

Blossoms in Adversity? FL build a business from nothing and clearing her family's name, a bit like Mu Dan.

Story of Kunning Palace? A rebirth-redemption drama with 3 MLs (+1-her past husband).

Thank you. Autumn Iris. The first two I have watched, loved them both. I didn't think Story of Kunning Palace was available here, will go and check.

Lost You Forever stands out for its strong character development, layered storytelling, and emotional depth. It explores identity, love, and survival with nuance, supported by excellent performances and beautiful world-building.

You should give it a try.
