Quantcast

Cambodian curly hair is highly prized in the luxury hair market because it is raw, completely unprocessed virgin hair collected from single donors. Unlike highly processed textured hair, its slightly coarse texture, natural luster, and strength match textured ethnic hair beautifully. Because the cuticles remain completely intact and face the same direction, it is incredibly durable and resists matting.

To keep these premium curls defined and frizz-free, you must treat them with the same care as your own natural curls. Raw Cambodian hair loves moisture but reacts poorly to heavy product buildup. Wash the hair using a sulfate-free, hydrating co-wash, and gently detangle it with a wide-tooth brush while it is soaking wet, always working from the ends upward to prevent shedding.

Apply a lightweight, alcohol-free curl-defining cream or a moisturizing mousse while the hair is soaking wet, then let it air dry completely or use a diffuser on a low-heat, low-speed setting. Never brush or comb Cambodian curly hair when it is dry, as this breaks the natural curl clusters and creates instant frizz.
