Been getting into BL. Send reccs! Not anything noobish though, Ive watched it all :👿

Won't say I'm an expert, but not a noob either.

Do you want some depth for your next watch? Like it's BL but not focusing only on the romance. Don't read the spoiler if possible as it's a spoiler, but I want to write something.

Maybe you can watch movies, like:

For Love, We Can depicted the acceptance of a partner towards a HIV patient but well there's a plot twist, kinda

The Paradise of Thorns depicted the harshness of society and law towards the living partner of a dead gay and the inheritance right when there's no marriage between them (maybe it was filmed before gay wedding was legalized in Thailand)

In Between Seasons depicted the surprise a mother got when his comatose son's best friend was in fact his son's boyfriend and how that boyfriend shown his sincerity in gaining the mother's trust and acceptance

Or drama:

The Eighth Sense (on your ptw) depicted the conflict a mental patient suffered from love and social norms and what he chose in the end

Wishing Upon the Shooting Stars depicted the agony of a man who's not being careful while wishing upon the shooting stars and how he met again with his high school crush and how it's not always what it seemed as people can have prejudice and miscommunication but the conclusion was a bit lacking imo

I see you also ptw I Promised You the Moon, it's a trilogy (maybe you already watched the prequel so it's not listed?). I Told Sunset about You was about their friendship that turns into enmity because of jealousy that later changes dynamic to rivals then blossoming into love. I Promised You the Moon was the sequel, about the cheating progress which starting from emotionally cheating to something more. Then there's their honeymoon period (no kidding) on Last Twilight in Phuket. I'd say Teh is red flag, but it's different, kinda. I initially didn't want to watch, but it's cutie dimples Billkin...
