congrats Mirichan Boutux i'm so jealous @_@; do you know where you will be working, what age/grade/level you'll be teaching etc? or do they go over that stuff once you're there and settled in? you will have to make a thread to keep us updated and post lots of photos..

Hey Mina-san :D I'm actually learning Japanese as a major language on my university and now I'm on my third year of my studies. If I can help about something, feel free to ask me. I still don't know much but I know enough for an intermediate conversation ^^ Also learning Korean, but as a second language and since i started in October I'm still a beginner!

Todaay I finally had the first japanese lesson with my Sensei Konoko^^ it was absoluetely awesome,great,beautiful,interesting and fun!I know it will get harder but she gave me hope in learning japanese~ lol we because I am an totally newbie we began with the pronunciation and the look of the Hiragana and Katakan:)I can't wait for later to practice in writing them:D As it seems the Hiragana and Katakana are much easier than the Kanji...well I knew it before but to hear it in person from my Sensei....It turned out she began to learn and live in German just FOUR months ago...amazing and she is already speaking quite good:)We talked an bit about here life and I asked her several questions and ahe too because she is still learning german.... She showed me an internet site to learn and review the things she taught...when anyone is interested I can give the link to it. And it turns out she really enjoyed watching Dramas in Japan too~>3 She even knew my favorite actor..All in All it was the beginning of an absolute AWESOME birthday present for tomorrow!

i saw you started with your classes and you liked it ^^
i have to admit, at the beginning it was very easy to learn, but now got really complicated. Kanji are the most difficult actually. Grammar isn't that hard, but if you love it (and you do) it'll be easy and so much fun! ^^

100% agree. i would say that kanji/vocab is the hardest, but i'm not advanced or anything so i don't know what is in store, lol.

it is hard cause we have to learn onyomi and kunyomi reading (japanese and chinese reading) of one kanji, and sometimes, one kanji has more than two readings, and then, you have to know when you should use one reading, when the another... so those combinations are a bit problematic xD

Lol that certainly seems an ln little too complicated for my brain right now~
Right now I am learning elementary school level xD

i know i'll be in fukuoka which is in kyushu, the island south of honshu(main island). apart from that i don't know much else. i'm gonna email the company to see if i can get more info cuz i've been waiting for a call for weeks that doesn't seem to be coming.
