I think Sugisaki Hana should have won first place.

Thanks for sharing! Maybe it's time for me to watch Reboot. BTW nothing can beat popularity of Asadora and Takaishi Akari is nothing short of the talent of Sugisaki Hana (haven't watched any of the two TBH but just speaking from their other acting works).

You’re welcome. I’m actually curious about Reboot as well. Even though it’s a Korean adaptation, it has achieved quite a bit of success. If Takaishi Akari was evaluated based on her most recent drama, then I can’t really say much about it. However, if we look at their careers overall, I think Sugisaki Hana is more talented and accomplished.

Is it a Remake? The drama page did not mention about it though.

If Takaishi Akari was evaluated based on her most recent drama

She is one of the Baby Assassin duo and has appeared in many other stuffs including MV and CM. Sugisaki Hana obviously started earlier (as child actor) so she has more on her portfolios in comparison.

Yes, as far as I know, it's a remake.

Baby Assassins was a huge disappointment for me. The acting was bad.

If yes, from which drama? The Korean must have been using a different title.

BTW I just finished Reboot. It's quite entertaining with many big names in the cast list. It's popularity is understandable. It's peoples vote award anyway.

It's a hard movie to digest and I wasn't a fan of it too, but for an actor that can do action and melodrama at the same time, it definitely a talent!

Anyway if you read my post again, you will obviously notice I never said who is better than who. I even mentioned the popularity of Asadora (morning drama that people got to watch daily) could possibly the reason for the winning.

If experience is the determining factor, Shida Mirai should have been the one who win the award. She started as child actor and already played "complex" characters during her young age. Sugisaki and Takaishi are nothing compared to her. It's not like Sugisaki and Takaishi are bad actors though, just comparing seniority and working experience.
