I wanted to know what these so-called Badges are for and what use are they?

Oh and what are the coins use for. And what is the coin??? LOL..

You can buy coins but you could also get free coins from watching ads. Putting spoiler, just in case.

First of all, you need to download mdl apps then after you open the apps you can click top left button, click free coins and click watch a video for free coins. 1 ads click = 6 coins = 1 flower.

Custom lists can be really useful. If you're looking for something else to do, maybe start playing around making some of your own.

Let's just say transparency is not the devs' greatest strength.

I'm on a browser, this might be somewhat different on the app. In the upper right corner, there's a drop down menu next to your avatar (currently a letter K for you). Click on Custom Lists in that menu.

Create a New List. Choose between Shows and People and give it a title. Can be anything. Like if you want an easy way to recommend your favourite dramas (overall, from a particular country, or a particular theme, or anything) to friends, make a list for that. Then you can send them the link. There's room for you to write a bit of something about each one too.

Public list is open for anyone to view. Voting list lets other people add to it and vote (we used one for a film festival along with a discussion thread, that was fun). Private list is viewable to you (and I think those you send the link to) but no one browsing your profile can see it. You can look at other people's Custom Lists from the links at the top of their Profile page.

(Just a note, there are two uses of the term "lists" on MDL. "Kazzy's list" is the page with your Currently Watching, Completed, Plan to Watch etc list. Custom lists are different.)

They can be just about anything. If you ever When you find yourself thinking "I wish I could do ____ with the official lists", figure out a way to do it with a custom list instead.

My Plan to Watch is a black hole of good intentions and often I'm in the mood for a particular style of story-telling, so I keep lists with titles I want to see from channels/sources I have access to and use a few more others have made.

I write a bit in the notes for each title on those lists too, so they become an easily referred to record and reminder. I have other lists which are an annotated diary of my viewing for each year. My diary lists are far more valuable to me than the official Completed list and I wish I had one for my first year.

But you can do whatever you want. They are MDL's secret power :D :D :D
