Hi!

I've been on this site for... a while.. but only really to keep track of which shows I have already watched. After 100+ shows I figured it was time I actually said hi to you guys ;)... and maybe get some drama recommendations haha.

My name is Tildi, I live in Sweden. I mostly watch Korean dramas (but I do want to branch out, I have watched a few Chinese and Japanese ones but Korean ones catch my attention more easily haha), genre is not as important to me as good character building. IE, I like character driven dramas. And dark, angsty ones. And some pure romantic ones as long as they either have real good writing or amazing acting.

I'm very open to all romantic pairings both in dramas and in real life so if you do want to give me recommendations, don't hesitate to bring on the BL or GL as well.

I also love music and Korean music particularly (which I guess isn't really a surprise, I feel like love for Asian dramas and Asian music go hand in hand), BTS is my definite fave (Yoongi biased if you're curious) but I also really like Bigbang, The Rose, Seventeen, 2ne1, Epik High and a lot more.

Feel free to add me as friend if you want to!

Hi Tildi,

I started out with Korean and branched off into Chinese, with a smattering of Japanese.

I'm sort of the reverse of you: I avoid angst!  I can appreciate a certain amount of darkness, but I'm really appreciating sweetness and light right now. If you want angst, let me fix you up. Try Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo. That should be enough angst for anyone!  But it's well done, so I don't begrudge watching it. https://kisskh.at/15999-moon-lovers-scarlet-heart-ryeo

I've also not finished Flower of Evil, because it was too intense for me, but it's so good. https://kisskh.at/54625-flower-of-evil

The Double is dark, angsty, and romantic (it's Chinese). https://kisskh.at/736749-di-jia-qian-jin

For romance and adventure, try My Dearest. I absolutely love it, but it doesn't make most lists. I don't know why, because it has everything: intrigue, action, and romance. https://kisskh.at/733821-lovers

I like BTS (who doesn't?), The Rose, Twice, Itzy, and Aespa, and many OST songs. Listening to Suzy sing "I Love You Boy" from While You Were Sleeping right now.

Nice to meet you!

The first time I saw BTS, I also have a crush on Suga (because he's pale and have small eyes), but then I was charmed by Jungkook. His voice is so great. My favorite song is Danger, can sing almost all the parts except half of J-Hope's part. And I also like Run (not Run BTS), Butterfly, Haruman/One Spring Day (not Spring Day) and Boy in Luv. My favorite K-singer is Kyuhyun, I love his voice color and his genuine personality. For female singer, I adore Jennie, she's talented and nonchalant (usually). But I don't listen to much K-pop these days, maybe some popular songs on chart or singers I subscribed on youtube. But I'll listen the full album of Ateez, Stray Kids and Enhypen whenever they release a new album.

I watch a number of drama from mdl countries except Fillipino's and I don't really mind that much about the country as long as it's great and have proper subs, though I prefer Chinese actors' visual.

If you're okay with long drama (Chinese): Go Ahead (46 eps) and The Story of Ming Lan (78 eps)

The Japanese drama that makes me cry in every episode: Silent

The Korean drama that makes me cry in almost every episode ever since episode 4: When Life Gives You Tangerines

Maybe two Japanese BLs: Eternal Yesterday and Our Youth

A well-made, inspiring Japanese drama: Sleepeeer Hit!

Maybe like eight movies: And So the Baton Is Passed (JP), Big World (CH), Homestay (TH), Kokuho (JP), Post Truth (CH), Time Still Turns the Pages (HK), How to Make Millions before Grandma Dies (TH) and YOLO (CH).
