Best Movie: That's difficult. I love samurai movies best, for new ones' there's 'Twilight samurai', '13 assassins'.
If you like old flicks like me, then try Akira Kurosawa's movies.

And there's "letter to Iwo Jima", war movie by Clint Eastwood, which I like a lot.

Also 'Cha na aji', a movie totally out of the box.

Gomne, I can't stop when it come to movies.


Nobuta Wo Produce was my second best jap drama .

I Prefer a romance movie than action but you really really really likes samurai themed movies

Needless to say! Right now watching "Ruroni Kenshin" to fill the only blockhole!

If you like romantic movies, then my fav would be "Tada kimi wa ashitteru".

I will Give a try on love exposure .
For Soredemo , Ikite Yuku I didnt really like a sad drama

My best Japanese drama would be Zettai Kareshi. The ending was bittersweet, but it's very very beautiful. Would love to rewatch it if I ever get the chance to. For the movie.. This is a very tough one. I can't pick which one's the best. So I'll just state the two: Paradise Kiss and Battle Royale. Paradise Kiss is such an amazing movie and I liked the movie more than the anime. I even watched ParaKiss twice last Christmas. And Battle Royale was my first gore movie. XD I loved it to death! I love the novel too.

At the moment my best drama is Piece. I love how in this series mystery and romance perfectly melded in.
But I guess the all-time for me (so far), is Liar Game. Hands down!!!

Best movie is Shissou: dead run, simply because it's so dark it became beautiful.

(and I guess from that you can conclude I'm a sucker for dark-themed stuff :P)
