Mine was Hana Yori Dango!! I was really obsessed with it and even bought the DVD but then I started watching MORE JDramas and realized.... it's not all that great lol
My first Japanese Drama: Ordinary People, Tokyo Love Story, Oshin (kinda mixed up which one first coz different TV stations broadcasted them almost the same time while i was a kid).

Aiyaiyai.. No it is! I don't know why but when I can't pick a drama I go back and rewatch that one. <3 I really like it still.
Zettai Kareshi :) I watched it because I'm crazy about the manga, and I didn't like the drama at all :P I was ready to give up on Japanese dramas, when I watched Hana Kimi, still one of favourites :)
Nodame Cantabile. I don't think it's the best Japanese drama by far, but it sure was a good choice as an introduction to the genre. I laughed a lot and fell in love with most characters and actors.
