Eye candy or because of the story?

I watch because of the story. I may drop or put on hold a drama that does not pique my interest.

I usually watch dramas because of the story, characters, ratings and reviews. I admit that I'm more interested to watch a drama if I'm fond of a certain actor. It's not enough that the actor is attractive to hold my interest but it's a plus.

I can't watch something simply for a good looking actor. If I did that I would really only last for like one episode or 15-20 minutes for a movie then I'm done. Even if the actors aren't attractive but the story is A1 then I'm sticking around.

It seems to be the case, especially in South Korea, to have pretty people acting even if they're god-awful.
