Upper Stratosphere levels of confliction for his second lead character (the way he's written and acted). With Sang Hee I just think.."aww poor boy. You need to go back to liking Yoon Joo...Now lets get to the Ah Jung/Ki Joon scenes, thanks!"

So Ki Joon took the fall for her and placed his own business at risk? But doesn't Ah Jung come out looking like a liar anyway? She already told her boss that she was married, which Ki Joon contradicted, so, um, he basically called out Ah Jung's lie in front of some important people. And now Exec. Chen knows that both Ki Joon and Ah Jung lied to him. And so... Where does that leave us? Does anyone have any ideas as to how this might get cleared up? Or what Ki Joon's rationale was here?

I just want to look at the couple, get excited about their chemistry, point and say ...oooh Pretty and Hot! Is that so wrong of me?
JameSmiths wrote: Yeah, a lot of the conflict in this episode felt really contrived, especially towards the end. I was kind of blown away by Yoon Joo's audacity, lying to the aunt that she and Ki Joon were going to get married. THANK GOD, the aunt has Manager Park levels of common sense and nipped that problem before it got too angsty. I was confused a bit by that final conflict. If he had let her keep on lying about their fake marriage, he would have had everything to gain and she everything to lose. Viewed in this light, his declaring that they are not married in front of everyone when she was hesitant in confirming it one second before, only reinforces the idea in everyone's mind that she did it out of good-will; in other words, he's going to declare that she lied to help him and not because she's a liar.
At least that's how I would resolve the thing, lol.

(in which case every scenario is possible, including Ki Joon kidnapping the Chinese guy or Ah Jung's father storming into the hotel to give his daughter's hand in marriage to her boss), I don't see Ki Joon suddenly turning into the worst jerk on Earth. Which he would become if he simply interrupted the scene to declare Ah Jung a liar.
And thanks for approving. Off I go sending in my resumé to the "Korean Dramas Scriptwriter Association".
