SPOILER:
Same, I watched it and I couldn't help but notice that the soul of the movie was extremely similar to Edward Scissorhands(one of my favorite films) - The ending felt different though, in an unsatisfying way...it wasn't okay with me that she left him alone like a stray dog...or maybe that note that I couldn't read said something that would have made the situation more acceptable, but given the fact that I cannot read the Korean language, I almost teared up out of frustration, rather than admiration

I'm not hating on the movie, though - after I watched it, I was ready to give it a 10...I usually have to wait up on my ratings for a few days so that I'm not blinded by emotions :P

ARRRRGH!!! I was really in love with it, up until you started pointing out some things that I didn't care to emphasize on. I'm sorry if I was blinded by Song Joong Ki's beauty, though I still think the rating is too low. The ending was 'blah' but they fixed it with that cute snowman scene.

For me it was only after I finished the movie, recovered a bit, and was reading some comments that I felt slightly unsatisfied with the ending and felt it could have used a bit more explanation. I understand why she left; what I don't understand is why it took her that long to come back when she knew he was waiting for her because she told him to wait.

I know what you mean, I always give myself some time to ponder a movie/drama to decide just how much I liked it, and just how great of a film it was
Can someone tell me where I can watch the alternate ending? I heard there was a different ending released in december... Please tell me^^

I have heard that the original ending stopped when she oped the door to his room (the shot of her in the doorway right before you see him I would guess), and that the alternate ending was the extended scene where they talk, read, etc.

I don't know if this is true or not, but it is what I've heard. Can anyone confirm?
this came up on my tumblr dash today. (i love you tumblr!)

Alternate ending (Raw) 4:44 - link to tumblr post with embeded video (less spoilery)

based on my very limited Korean it has very similar lines to the original ending. It was a change of one scene only, it seems.
