Yeah I noticed that discrepancy too!

SPOILER ** At the end of IRIS - the movie we see that the person who killed Kim Hyun Jun was his friendly North Korean Agent Kim Sun Hwa but at the recap in episode 1 of IRIS 2 (the drama) they showed the killer as some random guy **

....lets see if there is an explanation most likely in IRIS 2 will just ignore the movie ending lol

So I saw the first ep and I think it's good enough even though I really hated the exaggerated action cinematography at the beginning of the ep, it looked so fake. Other than that, I am really curious about Beak San's behavior at the beginning of this drama, why turn yourself in when you could've went back to IRIS? I think there's something more complicated behind that and the newspapers part? I will have to watch other episodes to find out (:

I understand what you mean but I feel like the drama picked up in the last few episodes and I got to admit that I like this male lead better than the first one.

I like the action in IRIS 2 more than in the first season.

But in the 2 the love stories (in my opinion) were very boring and useless.

They should focus on the action more then in romance otherwise it'll be boring.
