But I do have to say that I''m enjoying the Bromance more that the Romance lol Kim Bum and he's I'm Angel random Blurp are so funny. I can't wait to see what doing to happen next week I do have to say that Ji na's dad annoys me quite a bit.
Bladey wrote: I also think that. The drama had a seriously impressive and strong start. Now, like in most dramas things get to a slower middle. But I'm waiting until episode 16 for things to pick up.
Of course! The friendship (I really dislike the words bromance for some reason) and the whole story of a man battling unjust opinions and judgments... Frankly the romance is just a touch up, but the woman IS very selfish and is also for the larger part unable to look past the surface. She told him first she didn;t to go public for fear of what others may think. I don;lt like this attitude. The single mother is more likeable.
And also the son...I really, really like the son. And I hope that in the endm it will be matter of choice for him who HE wants his father to be. I hope he'd stay with our kang Chil, and Kang chil is a really sympathetic character. I really think they did a good job and they cast a great actor for that rool. Jung Woo Sun is just...has this something. I was so impressed with him in A moment to remember too.
Bladey wrote: Yes, Dark I agree with that. I don't like that other guy too much.
Still, I am curious how the lady v/et will cotninue to behave bit I do think that the romance thing here is just a bit iof add-on because of the father and his uncontrollable behaviour. The past needs some resolution.
As for Kim Bum, I"m not really sure whether he's not, he certainly has had some visions and those death and time going back? You think it;s just a delusiobn and illusion of a tormented mind? The camerawork and those anglic lights were quite convincing but I think the poriducers were cleverly introducing ambigioty that way..but I sure miss those light wings sweeping over the set. It was beautiful, but if it;s not meant to be fantasy, then the Angel's delusions will have to culminate in some illness too, or some other explanation. And it would be a pitty. He sure shows a lot of skill portraying the character.
The trick of the show is really that it manages to achieve c onsiderable ambiguity. I love it for that, too.

So what didn’t I like? The one thing I found unnecessary is the typical “fate” makjang of Korean dramas. I am still baffled by the need for everyone’s fates to be intertwined. Let me say that I loved the first ‘few’ meetings between Kang Chul and Ji Na. They are both humorous and tense. I can feel the chemistry already. And the encounters between them seemed fateful enough on their own without having them additionally connected by an intertwining past. I’m not going to say more on this. Any one of us who love Kdramas and have watched numerous shows knows what I’m talking about. So far this show is very well done so this is a minor gripe; mostly because I’m used to this kind of fateful meeting thing being pretty standard fare. I will live with it and suppress my eye rolling if this drama keeps up its gripping storytelling, acting and plot.

You know it's necessary, so...Suspend your disbelief!
Jeaniessi wrote: hahaha! I need to take the advise I always give you don't I? lol.
**actually, now this minor gripe? I'm over it. it's all playing out in an atypical way so I'm okay. I have suspended disbelief and still love this show.
darkn3ss wrote: Well I not really sure yet, I think there's still one miracles left to happen or did I miss the third one already. Well I hope they do give him his wings at the end , though I think it could be sad for the single mom to loose another man lol . But Kim Bum is doing such a good job at playing a angel that not really fits into the typical angel category. I think they should at least try to start giving closure to the past by the next two episode instead of totally waiting for the end to figure out that the dude was framed. I mean they could let that idiotic gangster type of police father figure out now that the poor guy was frame and then the all tension would be on trying to figure out who actually killed is brother.

So you still love it as when you first started it?
Jeaniessi wrote: Yes. I really like how different it is compared to other Kdramas I've seen. It just has a different feeling to it for me. The father/son relationship, the friendship of Gook Soo and Kang Chul (chil..whichever), the love story and family relationship. Kang Chul and how he deals with life and people...I love it all.
