I don't think that's Zhou Ye.  It's Zhang Jingyi.  But I don't think the movie is out either.

I mean I like Jing too BUT (and there's a big butt not as hot as TJC's butt though) they have been painting him as the perfect golden boy who is always the victim of others . And here's my problem, what does he do for the woman he loves? Yes he has "helped" her with things but when he has to give everything up for her he doesn't... Grandma, brother, stupid fake toxic fiance/wife...He fell short. But XL put his head on the block and his heart and life on the line for her! We see him grow as a character, from a demon that everybody fears, a coldhearted villain to someone who learns how to love and care unconditionally and actually backs his words with actions! Jing is always abiding by the rules others impose on him when Xiang Liu breaks them for the one he loves! So in my opinion, bias aside,  XL all the way!!!!!

No it was my bad for putting a TSJ character discussion post (basically an appreciation post) in the XL / TJC appreciation thread. I just wanted to give nathsketch credit because her post was stuck in my head. 

I also really thought this was a very odd choice for Tong Hua to make. The parallels of the snake demons I get, but to have the main love interest parallel the person who tortured her for thirty years? Weird. 

This probably belongs in a character discussion thread too, but somehow I don't think the YaoJings would be happy if I brought this up in their thread ^^"

They do look similar.  I don't know if that's an actual movie, or just a Harper's Bazaar movie, like the Ru Meng Ji 'movie.'  Need to check the listing.

I just read your link and it’s a movie. It has a kind of similar plot of a movie that I watched recently with Zhang Xin Cheng. And yes they look kind of similar that’s why for some reason I put Zhou Ye and my brain is still saying I NEED THAT DRAMA NOW 🥹🥹
