Quite similar, but without the demon / deity aspects. And both actors were a little bit older (in their mid-thirties), which I think is a plus.

It's really really funny (depends on what funny you like) friendship, not really romance, plus the ML is badass. I should also mention Mr. Queen this is quite funny and very good in my humble opinion. They're both korean

Yep. Fair warning: it's just one neck bite between the female lead and the general, following a neck bite between the female lead and the rich business man. And she falls for the rich business man first (and is a bit naive / silly in the beginning) so you have to have a bit of patience. But IMO (as someone who has avoided reading the novel) it's worth it.

I love her, but she's very good at sad and tragic... For a person who's vilified as a monster getting a happy ending, I'd recommend The Legends.

nathsketch you know I have a high tolerance for tragic endings but I personally was extremely saddened by how Mr. Queen ended.

Mr. Queen did not seem to be my cup of tea. Really? Wow, that must have been pretty tragic, then.

To be honest, I'm not exactly averse to tragic endings. I have a dark side. It's not really easy to make me cry.

It's just that Xiang Liu happened. I was fine three months ago, I really was. I can't explain it.
