Initially, tbh i thought he was, until in the middle of the drama, I glanced through the novel and my first reaction was like "What?!" and the essence was all over, how could they just remove it like that?!

It's just very sad.

It's sad, especially because it's the main appeal of the novel. I'm sorry to say this, but I doubt that people would be as invested in this story if it were just to follow the misunderstandings and sufferings of XY and Jing. Thank God there's also Cang Xuan and his woes.

omg I didn’t know. Chinese censoring is so bad. Why did they do it. Only because he is not endgame or only because fl cannot love two persons. Argh I am so angry now.
