Xiang Liu and You (Yes, You)

Would be interested in the alternate ending. I'm a descendant of Chinese, and I can read and speak Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese) fluently. Would be great if I could have a read on the ending.

From what I read, the spoilers are everywhere. The spineless ball-less Jing wins. I might not even watch Season 2. I am only 4 episodes away from the end of S1.

Good to see you on our thread! From reading the script, Xiang Liu and Xiao Yao's special moments in the novel were mostly deleted. Jing has more scenes added for him that weren't in the novel that make him look better.

Alternate endings/alternate universes:

相思日月长 is the one where she resurrects Xiang Liu using a fragment of his soul which Gong Gong managed to preserve. 

不负相思意 is the one where she manages to go back in time due to the mirror after his death, and makes different choices, knowing now what she didn't before.

Sometimes I question myself if I want XL to win XY's heart. He knows XY loves him but he keeps pushing her away. What a dumbass.

Yeah, it's infuriating how much he keeps wanting others to be happy, but his own definition of happiness and a satisfying ending is dying a glorious death. Wish we could slap some sense into him.

The worst part is having to see him pushing her away and into Jing's arms. That is maddening. I wish there was a 5th option lol. Or Fenglong. He never irked me as much as Jing does.

If you did set up a JD account, you might want to try to order the Dreams album again.  Allegedly it is NOT sold out, as of yesterday.  No idea if that's true or not, especially now ....
