Yes me too. It‘s nice to know that our admiration of him is validated by the profis in this industry. I feel justified fangirling him so much 🤣. I found two clips in youtube of dancing coach reaction/review on TJC dance. If I can find them again, I‘ll post it here. Sadly no eng sub and from what I was able to translate using google translator. One coach praised him for having solid basic dance technique so when he overlay his smooth dance moves with controlled clipped movement the effect looks very good/polished. He also criticized the choice of props in his MV but can understand it as budget restriction choices. And this broight my attention back to what I noticed from his ‚IMMA GET IT‚ MV BTS. They record it in what look like a normal dance studio, with only one cameraman (it looks low key and low budget, maybe TJC is financing his album himself?) but the result is very good as it really showing of the dance choreo from beginning to the end perfectly with the song and its beat in the background without the distracting lights or editing. Just a nice clean dance-song MV.
Well I need to go back to my real life now and stop fangirling at least for today….or not🙈
I think I started one of those, but since it was subbed I stopped. I also saw two American guys (I think fans, not dancers) critiquing one of his videos. They were very impressed.
He really broke it down. But I agree. I like his MV because he doesn't hide stuff behind lights or camera moves. You get to see what is going on.

That's true! But even without it, I'd be like "those people know nothing about anything" lol
LOL! Exactly. "What do they know?"

nathsketch:
Yes, budget restrictions :(
I must confess that I didn't really notice anything except for the choreography.
Is that what Tunnel Vision Syndrome means? hahaha
Yes. Definitely a sign of Tan Tunnel Vision Syndrome. There is no cure. :)

Yes justification of fan girling is an added bonus ?? No subs is ok with me, my vocabulary isnt good enough to understand conversation about art but I can usually get by with what I know and some pinyin to english searching
I know nothing about dance but I think his style is very compelling? Watchable? I saw one clip from a show where I think he was a mentor and the suggestion he gave to one group to make a movement more exaggerated was really on point
Yeah, my only experience with dance is square dancing and far too many hours watching Dancing With the Stars with Mom. But I really enjoy his work. Especially when he does ballroom or incorporates it. Like his voice he's very versatile with styles.
