By cutting all of chapter 43, they are technically cutting 8 bites. Two on the beach and six (every dawn and dusk for three days) on the boat they took back to the mainland. So it's full on highway robbery.

And the last bite... it's not a happy one. It's a "push XY to cut ties with me" bite. ໒( ⇀ ‸ ↼ )७ 

We can't have anything nice. He can't have a happy ending, and we certainly can't have those precious little moments. Even if the last bite isn't a happy one, it's important. But no, can't be having that anymore.

So sad. And all those changes for what? This will not make more people like the fox dude. The ones who like him already liked him from the beginning. The ones who don't will continue to dislike him.

If I'm being 100% honest, cross my heart and kiss my elbow, I couldn't care less about who XY ends up with. If she wants a butler or a tourist guide, that's fine. Girl has her issues, good luck to her.

I just don't like the ending TH gave to him. That whole dying thing is such a turn-off. It's depressing to see this kind of ending be considered happy because "it's what he wanted". No one truly wants this. Even the ones who think they do end up regretting it but then it's too late. What sort of healing message is that?

He's so beautiful inside and out, couldn't he just continue to be alive somehow? Bunch of nonsense packaged as epic.

I hope it backfires and everything that will supposedly make Jing look better ends up making him more unremarkable.

Exactly. Not a single day goes by without someone in the main comment section saying that Xiang Liu is the most interesting character, or that TJC is the best actor. 

Lol the supposed endgame is one of the most insipid things I’ve ever seen.
